Salvador, we apologize for the mixup. When you first reached out you mentioned the new upgraded subwoofer did not sound any different than the factory subwoofer. We understood that to be your primary reason for initiating a return. To us, this meant you installed the subwoofer and performed some sort of audio test on it. We don't know what sort of test you performed or if you did any damage to the subwoofer. All we knew was that you weren't satisfied with the upgrade. The sound of subwoofers is very subjective from person to person so while you weren't happy with the upgrade we have hundreds of other customers who love the upgrade. We do not accept returns on used installed items so your order was not eligible for return. Once we received this review we reached out to verify your complain about the fitment. That is when you provided proof that the subwoofer did not fit correctly in your 2009 Honda Civic Si Coupe. The subwoofer once installed added unneeded resistance to the trunk brace bars and that was unacceptable. At this point we did issue a return and a refund. In this instance while I don't think we deserve a one star review, it was our fault to market this subwoofer as an upgrade to a 2009 Honda Civic Si Coupe without testing it ourselves and relying on community feedback. If you have a sedan of this year series the subwoofer fits with no problem but in the Coupe it will require modifications. We thank Salvador for the invaluable feedback so this doesn't occur to other customers in the future. We also hope he updates this review with his feedback regarding the overall experience.
