One of the connectors had 2 issues. One set of red/white composite plugs were switched and one of set of speaker wires were switched for pos/neg. That was a pain to track down and fix.

Marc, Thank you for your review and feedback on our products. After reviewing our previous conversation, we are confident that there is another issue occurring with your installation. The wires you referenced have been verified to be in the correct locations, and their colors match the OEM wiring diagrams. It appears that you have attempted to determine which wire colors carry specific speaker signals, but your conclusions do not align with the OEM diagrams. The issue you experienced with ground feedback most likely disappeared because you reversed the ground wire. Your comment regarding the switched positive and negative wires is incorrect, and we ask that anyone else reading this please disregard that statement. All of our products are designed based on OEM wiring diagrams. In some cases, the wire colors may differ from common expectations. For example, in this particular setup, the positive wire is black while the negative wire is red. This is how the OEM designed it. While most people assume red indicates positive and black indicates negative, that is not always the case. Regarding your comment about the RCA plugs being switched, this is also incorrect. The RCA connectors are clearly labeled according to their respective inputs—RL and RF—which match the OEM diagrams. Although the RCA colors may differ, color does not determine the signal being carried, as is also evident in the OEM wiring. That said, your review did help us identify that the center speaker output was reversed, which was indeed an issue. We appreciate you bringing that to our attention, and we have corrected it in all future harnesses. Thank you again for your feedback and for helping us improve our products.

Putting it in was not easy.

I purchased a Honda Acura 8 Inch Subwoofer Adapter Spacer Bracket w/ Speaker Connector 2009 Acura TSX The dimensions of the product was perfect but it is entirely too thick and not to Honda/Acura specifications. It needs to be thinner so the new subwoofer can fit underneath the rear deck and the factory grill cover.
Response from Mobile Max Car AudioJul 19, 2024
Scott, Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunetly the obstacle you describe regarding the adapters thickness has no good solution. If we make the bracket thinner the screws will not hold correctly. It needs to remain as thick as it is to hold the screws that secure the subwoofer properly and to reduce flexing from the vibrations. We aren't sure which subwoofer you used but if you used the kicker subwoofer then it should sit right against the grill. If you used another subwoofer with a large surround then the solution described below may not help. You have two solutions to help with the extra thickness around the subwoofer. To secure the back deck on correctly you have to trim the surround on the inside of the deck cover so it doesn't push against the surround of the new subwoofer. If you don't want to modify the rear deck plastic then your other solution is to use longer retaining clips. If you don't like either of those solutions then you can drill the metal and fabricate new mounting holes other wise you won't be able to install another aftermarket subwoofer. We have seen other installations where people cut up the factory sub and then secure the aftermarket subwoofer to the factory metal frame but this doesn't hold well with the vibrations over time. We have a video coming out next week 7/27 on how to install an aftermarket subwoofer in the TSX. We will showcase the two solutions just in case my explanation was not clear enough.

The shipping was fast and the sub woofer is quality. However the adaptor plate that came with it, which was the main reason I ordered it, the holes did not line up. I ended up enlarging the holes and even then didn't line up properly. I did manage to get it installed but wasn't too happy with the finished results.

i love the radio and i’m very happy with the plug and play harness simplifying the process however i ordered a kit for a 2002 TL (99-03) and received the dash kit for a later model and had to buy my own dash kit because trying to return just the dash kit proved been too much of a hassle for it to be worthwhile.

The kit for an 04 Acura Tl was exactly what I needed. The cables looked great. But the wrong cable was connected for the Amp turn on signal. After half an hour and comparing the original harness I was able to cut and solder the right cable and everything worked great.

Some of the products did not work and when I wrote an email about it, I never got a response
