The leaders from mission discovery made the trip run smoothly, even when it didn’t! Shout out to Josh, excellent work. Passion for the mission is powerful and rubs off on the entire group. My first trip and not my last!! Thank you

The whole overall experience was a blessing. I have learned a lot from Gods love and mercy for his people. I have learned a lot to be thankful for what I have and that we are blessed. I am thankful for this experience to serve God.

The connections with the staff at Kairos and the kids. Also the bonding that occurred within our group. The arrival at the hotel was a disaster! Poorly organized and handled poorly. When we had rooms then didnt have rooms, the comment was made the men can stay with the men and the women with the women. That was our intent all along!! Eventually things worked out but with organizing and planning it woudnt have occurred in the first place.

The trip was incredible. Even through obstacles we were able to effectively minister to others while growing spiritually ourselves. I can't think of anything that Mission Discovery could do differently. I wish I would have been doing this the last 20 years and I'm definitely going to serve again.

Mission discovery has been nothing but amazing, loving, caring and genuine no matter the situation. The staff is wonderful, the mission project are amazing, and of course the central theme, Jesus Christ. Jesus is felt the entire time as the center of our work, worship, and entire day!

Thank you for this beautiful reflection. It’s our joy to keep Jesus at the center of all we do—and we’re so grateful you felt that throughout your time with us. We’d love to serve with you again soon!

The trip was great from one aspect of having all my friends with me to do service work, but being able to see the joy on the childrens face's when playing with them.
