Great customer service

The idea is very cute and their products seem well made (we haven't built it yet). The customer service is excellent and responds promptly. There was an issue when I uploaded my first photo, because it resulted in building blocks that looked exactly the same (I wasn't too familiar with the process, so I uploaded a photo of the father-son with matching clothes). I thought it would have enough differentiation, but the blocks looked exactly the same. I had originally paid for a mock up and a chance for a correction, so when I asked to upload a different photo, they wanted to charge me even more (even though there's a FREE option to manually change the color of the selected blocks). I did push back, because I had already paid so much and if there's a free option to change the lego colors, I figured they'd help me in doing so. They ended up allowing me to upload a different photo and I'm grateful that they were flexible and had the customer at the forefront. I also had additional questions afterwards (because the box they sent had the old photo) and they were able to quickly attend to my needs. Definitely a cute idea for a lego-loving family, but beware of the photo you submit!
