Getting help for filing for disability

They worked very hard to get me in the place I needed to be and my caseworker, Tammy, always kept me on top of things and informed!

Let me start by saying that I had been struggling for 4 years to get my disability /SSI approved when I found Mindset, well I didn't, a wonderful lady with Aetna passed their name on to me and it was truly a life saver! From the minute I spoke with Vinson Osmond, my lawyer with Mindset, only 1 phone call and I was able to relax and for the first time felt I was in the right hands! Vinson and the team took me on in in I believe November of 2025 I had my approval for disability/SSI in December 2025 and my first backpay in March 2026 and my first actual monthly check as well around that same time. So only 3 months, 3 months and what I'd struggled with for 4 years was taken care of in a matter of a few months! Mindset took care of everything with my talking with them being no more that 3 or 4 short phone calls and a final hearing that lasted, at the most, 30 minutes and I was approved. Mindset, Vindon Osmond in particular, just made me feel like it were my own family taking care of this, I just, just felt so safe with these people, people I'd never met in person. They were able to get my back pay to a starting point where I got far more than I thought I would. I'm at a loss of words to make you or anyone for that matter understand just how wonderfully Heaven sent like that these people are. They took what felt like I was stuck in qhicksand and giving up hope to me walking on the beach, with a beautiful sunset,feet just getting cooled by mm the touch of a wonderful ocean wave rolling in. Mindset has the most caring and empathetic staff I have made contact with along my experiences in my difficult health journey expanding most of my life, I’m 44. I have had lots of interactions and questions and conversations along my somewhat mostly difficult experiences. My Dr, Dr. Mijatovic has treated me just as well, as well as Mend Psyc and Soujourners counseling. Mindset genuinely cares and are there to really help you, especially if you’ve nearly given up finding help.
