Mindset assists those with a mental illness and their caregivers in applying for Social Security Disability benefits(SSI and SSDI). We represent claimants from an initial application and through an appeal at the hearing level if needed. We are your close advocate through the convoluted process of applying for and being awarded your benefits.

How grateful I am for my mindset team and mindset
I highly recommend Mindset Care Disability Firm to anyone seeking compassionate, reliable, and professional support. From my experience, the team genuinely cares about the people they serve and goes above and beyond to make individuals feel valued, respected, and understood.
What stands out most is their dedication to building trust and creating a positive, supportive environment. They take the time to listen, communicate clearly, and provide care with kindness and professionalism. It's clear that helping people improve their quality of life is at the heart of everything they do.
If you're looking for a disability support provider that treats people with dignity and truly cares about their well-being, Mindset Care Disability Firm is an excellent choice. I would confidently recommend them to anyone seeking dependable, compassionate support.

Zero stars if I could would be my rating!
If I could give mindset zero Stars I would. They are only a middleman. They are not an attorney. They are not a firm. They are in advocacy. All you will get is a caseworker who probably can't spell words that are directly linked to mental health and mental health medications. They will cause you to lose your initial and if you let them your reconsideration appeal it only works out for them. If you get to the adjudication stage, that is the only time that you will ever speak to an attorney or have an attorney and or a paralegal. You will only have a caseworker that will want you to do all the work and let them take 25% of your payout. Please do not sign up with this company then they will use scare tactics when finally get fed up with them causing you to have to loose your initial and or appeal bc the longer you wait the more money they make. When you are not wanting them to represent you anymore and you file the 1696 they will use a scare tactic that they've sent a fee agreement which mine said in 80 different places that what they did in my claim was "other" which is not legal. They cannot do that. They were trying to charge me for a paralegal fee when I have never spoken with one paralegal. One second of the time that I was with them for almost a year and a half they have cost me. They didn't even get my doctor's records right? They told SSA that my doctor was with Dr on demand instead of shrinky. They will pretend to send in a fee petition to the SSA to scare you into coming back to them. Don't believe it. Fire them. They are crooks and they are liars. They say that they are affirm on every thing they send out. The attorney's name is signed but you will never hear from him until the third step which is when you go in front of a judge and that can be a year and a half to 2 years later. Please do not hire these people, they will not win your case in a timely fashion. They cost me my initial denial by not getting my medical records to the SSA or DDS. Them wanted me to fill out function reports alone and get all my medical records and send them to DDS and SSA myself. So what is it that they do? What am I paying them for? Were my questions My caseworker spelled clonazepam wrong and borderline wrong on my function report and I'm sure several other things were spelled wrong that I did not realize then they tried to explain away their mishaps and mistakes because they have too many people on their books. I was told my caseworker usually only has 250 cases but at the time she had my case she had $400. That is not my problem. That is a mindset issue that needs to be taken up and fixed. My claim shouldn't suffer because they have too many people on their books. I am also going to make a complaint with the bar association mindset care and the lack of care that I was given. They hurt me rather than helping me and then want me to pay them when I've done all the work. That's why I am no longer being represented by them and have a new representative. Please don't make the mistake that I did hire a real law firm with real attorneys and real paralegals not just caseworkers that will barely do their job if at all. I am suffering because of this company financially mentally, emotionally bc they are not what they claim to be. I did not get what I thought I was signing up for by any means.

Mindset (Kelli Wilbourn) to be exact…
Mindset (Kelli Wilbourn) to be exact was the case manager throughout my whole process. She never let me down, she would always respond within reasonabke time (even if it's I'll back with you) she never let me down. I stayed in the loop when it came to Kelli. Definitely a hard worker.. if anyone needs help and wants a great case manager, ask for Kelli Wilbourn.
