Mind Bloom falls short of fulfilling their promises. I expressed my concerns regarding their physicians and therapists rushing through sessions and lacking honesty. Their poor bedside manner was disappointing. I would not even recommend this therapy to my dog, let alone another person. Despite reaching out and receiving an email assuring me that my concerns were being taken seriously, I never heard back from them. This lack of follow-up confirms my belief that this company is not genuine. I am committed to sharing my negative experience with everyone.

Mindbloom charged my credit card without a doctor’s prescription
After a $99 consultation I decided their program wasn’t a good fit for me and did not receive a prescription from the doctor I consulted with. Two weeks later my credit card is charged $350 for six sessions. How am I being charged almost $400 when I never received a prescription from any doctor? Stay far away from these money-hungry vultures. There are much cheaper and better alternatives for ketamine therapy.

Way too expensive
Way too expensive. But it’s a good start I suppose. But they’re very greedy. Approach with caution.

Hi Alexander,

We understand that cost is an important factor for individuals considering Mindbloom treatment. Our initial program includes 2 consultations with a clinician, 3 guide coaching sessions (with unlimited messaging), a Bloombox at-home care kit, unlimited group integration circles, access to the Mindbloom app with a comprehensive library of content designed by experts to support treatment, and six ketamine treatment sessions.
Our program can be a significant step towards improving overall well-being and mental health. This treatment can offer rapid antidepressant effects, promote healing in the brain, and lead to lasting changes in mood and behavior. In Mindbloom's largest-ever ketamine therapy study, nearly 90% of patients reported improvement in their anxiety and depression symptoms after only 4 sessions. Many Mindbloom clients find that the personal growth and insights gained through this therapy are invaluable, making it a worthwhile investment in their future. If you have any further questions or would like to explore options, our team is available 24/7.

Overcharged! Disorganized and Petty!
First, I want to say that as a person with PTSD, it can be difficult to concentrate, and even worse to be given a hint of hope, only to be prematurely "disqualified" due to the moods of a "clinician" who didn't look old enough to have gone to medical school.
On top of that, the "clinician" tried to make it look like I canceled the membership voluntarily, rather than being unceremoniously kicked off the platform.
Essentially I was charged almost $600 for one month of "treatment", ($100 for the initial consultation, $359 for the first month, and an additional $134 for a 15 minute zoom meeting where the "clinician" was rude and dismissive of me, and "disqualified" me for taking only what was left of what I had been sent, having no idea when the next shipment would come) and that was largely about figuring out what dosage worked for me.
The first two sessions were a misunderstanding about how to take the medication. I didn't know it would be this much of a science project. The following two sessions, I felt almost nothing. For the third session, after feeling nothing, my "clinician" told me to break up the troches a bit to let them dissolve a little more in my mouth before I spit them out after seven minutes. With 600mg for both session 3 and session 4, I thought letting it dissolve more would be an adequate adjustment for session 4.
Instead I was booted from the program, and never told when my next shipment was coming. When the shipment was sent, it was sent to the wrong address, despite multiple emails telling them to send it to a UPS location and keep that location on file as my mailing address for anything that needs a signature confirmation.
My "guide" was AWOL most of the time, which is ironic, because if I were to miss a zoom meeting, I'd risk being charged $150, but if my "guide" has gone off the rails, I get no compensation for the services I was denied. There was no system in place to provide a substitute guide or any other contingency plan, other than being overcharged and treated like crap by an obtuse "clinician".
Again, because the app failed to update, I scheduled an additional "check in" with my "clinician" at the insistence of the prompts within the app. My "check in" resulted in being treated rudely by my "clinician" and ultimately "disqualified" for taking one troche less than I was allegedly told verbally to take. Their failure to ship me the proper amount of medication on time is not my fault.
There are no prompts within the app that assure that a patient is to take a certain dosage, and I feel that I was unfairly "disqualified" for opting to be on the safe side, and also to follow their protocol of doing a session every 7 days.
Apparently for a certain amount of sessions, a patient is supposed to do a session every 3-7 days, but then at one point I was also chided for scheduling a session 5 days after the previous, and nowhere does it say when to go from 3-7 days to 7-10 days between sessions.
In general, I feel that staff projected their own problems with communication onto me, rather than understanding that there can be a period of adjustment for a new patient.
I was also given a $100 discount referral link, and that discount was never applied! Grifters!
Don't trust a company that doesn't even have a real phone line.
I cannot recommend this provider at all. They have done more harm than good.

I have been waiting almost 2 weeks now…
I have been waiting almost 2 weeks now to get my prescription filled. and when I contact somebody, all I do is get an apology. evidently the person that wrote the prescription wrote the wrong amount down, so the pharmacy wouldn’t fill it and then she’s on vacation. I find it hard to believe that there’s no one else there that can have the prescription filled. now she’s been back from vacation four days and I still don’t have an answer does this company realize they’re in the business working with people with anxiety and depression disgraceful. The level of incompetence with this company is unbelievable. that’s why you got the review that you did.

There have been several issues…
There have been several issues throughout my experience. There is lack of communication and follow through between my clinician and guide, the app keeps making me fill out the same forms, my clinicians have rescheduled at the last minute 2x, then I get rescheduled on random days without anyone asking me what dates or times work with my schedule as a small business owner. I have requested a full or partial refund and will not be recommending this service to anyone. The ketamine medicine does help but all the “Mindbloom” app and administration seems incompetent

Scam service
Scam service. Paid the $99 fee for the consultation. The phone call lasted five minutes. The person explained the true cost of treatment, I said no, they said ok no problem we will refund your money since you did not proceed, No refund was given. After several attempts and them saying there is no refund for that, they offered a $50 refund. Scam. Trying to keep half the money for no service, no personal information was discussed, price only. There is no excuse to charge someone just for telling them the price of something. This place is dealing with mentally unwell people and they are exploiting them. Plain and simple.

The medication did not work again
The medication did not work again. This was my third session and absolutely nothing happened. It’s almost like I was supplied with sugar pills.
