Virtual Cosult Schedule Request
It seems I am getting replies from AI bots rather than humans. I am having to repeat myself with each machine interaction. If I could schedule the video consult, all the treatment history and expectations could be completed succesfully and I could go 0n with the renewal program. Thank you.

Extremely unprofessional company
Extremely unprofessional company. Support staff is horrible. Nothing is run smoothly. I’ve had sessions cancelled the day of. My medication has not arrived on time. They contract with pharmacies with shipping issues in California. They offer no refunds or accommodations. If your mental health is struggling this WILL exacerbate those issues. This company is clearly concerned with making money more than anything else (as most companies), but it’s especially alarming how little they appear to care about the mental health and well being of their self-paying patients. My clinician has changed, my guide has changed twice. All around a HORRIBLE experience I wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

super dismissive, weird vibes for a mental health company
Damn, I would have loved to try Mindbloom out but couldn't get past the checkout hurdles and felt dismissed by everyone at the company I talked to the whole way through. Made me hesitant to move forward with their services, like I wouldn't be able to trust them to hold my mental health needs if they couldn't even get the customer support part right. I've been dismissed enough in mainstream health contexts, unfortunately no difference here. Super weird vibes for a mental health and wellness company :/ Do they even want customers??

I haven't finished the treatments or…
I haven't finished the treatments or the sessions yet, but I've already had a pretty bad experience. The platform is nice and polished. However, my guide quit the company (or was fired after my first session). The company informed me, but my account on the app was not designed to choose another guide because it is basically a scripted platform and I had already passed the "choose a guide" part of the app. Because I was not clear on how to proceed without a guide or what to do to get a new guide, I stopped my sessions and sent emails asking for clarification about next steps. This process has put my program on hold for several weeks. The company just finally sent me an email to choose my new guide (you can't work back on the app as that option to choose has passed). So, anyway, I pick a new guide but write to them that I would like to reset the platform to start the sessions again since the first session with the guide is super important to establish the therapy direction and ensure program success. Plus, now several weeks have interrupted my sessions and sessions are supposed to be done weekly. The response came from what is likely a call/response center in a different country (the reply was simplistic, had incomplete sentences and grammatical errors). It said no you can't go back because you have already gone forward. That was the gist of it -- likely from either a 3rd grader they illegally employ or a person overseas who has no understanding of the therapy, the platform, nor enough knowledge to actually understand the question of enough authority to make a decision. Overall, it just feels like a shiny app with a pretty generic and canned salesforce. It isn't the personalized therapy they promise. Also, my clinician (different from the therapist) is so rude. She is not happy and she makes you feel like you are an annoying problem she needs to be done with ASAP. She definitely need to do Mindbloom therapy herself! I've asked for a different clinician because she is just so unpleasant-- but I haven't received any reply to that request. Also, the blood pressure monitor they sent me doesn't work at all. The failure of the device almost ended my first session-- luckily I had a back up monitor in my closet. I just think all these issues speak to the platform having a polish from a sales perspective, but not the actual depth or quality to the organization that they promise (definitely not the individual attention or personalized guided therapy they claim to offer).

I would argue their billing practices…
I would argue their billing practices are predatory and borderline unethical. I had a very poor experience and would give the feedback that they need to be more upfront about how and when they charge for services. I lost $1100 without realizing it.

These people are trying to SCAM you really hard!
Before you fill in the survey they start to charge you. First it's $99 and then it's $359 but remember that i didn't even fill in the survey or talk to nobody. Subsequently they state that ONLY option for me is to schedule a talk with clinician but nothing about that I never received anything from them. No service no nothing. If that wasn't enough they don't want to give me my money back UNTILL i fill in some sort of feedback of theirs. HELLOOO!!!!

Canned and controlling
Editing my response after the disappointing response I got to my original review. While I think the treatment itself is helpful, the program leaves much to be desired. It feels like Mindbloom has justified an entire platform by creating very basic, overly programmed content that clients are forced to engage with to proceed. This approach feels rigid and canned, making it unsuitable for anyone with different learning styles or a busy schedule, or those working with their own therapist. In my opinion, the program lacks the personalization it claims to offer unless you're willing to pay for more sessions—something I clearly stated was unnecessary in my case. Mindbloom's response to my review only reinforced my concerns. Instead of addressing the core issue I raised, they pivoted to upselling features like additional sessions and customization options, which, again, I did not find necessary or helpful. They also always bring up data privacy concerns to every negative review, which literally no one ever mentions or has ANYTHING to do with the reviews, which always comes across creepy and dishonest, like a deflection rather than a genuine acknowledgment of feedback. The reply came across as an attempt to control the narrative rather than listening to a client's honest critique. A request for a review should invite transparency, not a defensive explanation that undermines the client's experience. This has eroded my trust in the company and proven my initial point about the program's lack of flexibility and personalization. Bad form, Mindbloom.
