I backed MIKO's Square Off project with high hopes, but my experience has been deeply disappointing. Despite initial assurances of a prompt delivery, my order has faced multiple delays. The most recent communication promised a shipment by April 30, 2024, which is far beyond reasonable.The acquisition of Square Off by MIKO seems to have led to a significant breakdown in communication. My attempts to reach out for updates were met with silence until the recent email, which only extended the wait.This lack of transparency and accountability is unacceptable. I've lost all trust in MIKO and have decided to request a refund. It's disheartening to see a company fail to uphold its commitments to its backers.I hope this review serves as a caution to potential customers. Be wary of the promises made by MIKO, as my experience suggests they may not be met.

I backed SquareOff's chess board Kickstarter campaign in 2019. They didn't deliver. Then Miko bought Squareoff. Now they're offering a kids robot that has nothing to do with chess as a replacement. Looks like SquareOff and Miko are both in the scam business.

4 years ago, I ordered 1 Squareoff Chess Board from Kickstarter for $129USD. Today MikoRobot Miko.ai announced they acquired Squareoff(1 year ago) offered me a cheap plastic toy robot instead, or I would have to wait until 1st Half 2024. We were never appraised of that and every few months we got a promise of "delivery soon" since 2020! Thousands of people are concerned and angry. What's your plan Miko? Edit 08 Jan 2024: After telling me they would make things right and reimburse me, I gave them my details, a few weeks later they said they wouldn't do anything. Now they give the same "you'll get it in 6 months because of issues" that I've got for the past 4 years. Also, the frequency at which they contact me to remove my bad review borders on harassment. They also tried to get my review removed by contacting Trustpilot. I explained the situation to Trustpilot and they agreed to keep the review. I definitely do not trust Miko.

I think Miko is brilliant this robot is not just great for children but great for adults with learning disabilities and autism.

Great product that is very interactive and entertaining as well as informational.

Been trying to get my miko repaired for month as it's currently still under warranty but been messed about constantly by customer service let them know about my issue beginning of September, still not resolved. In fact all they tried to do was try to sell me the miko 3. Definitely wouldn't recommend

The Mico device is considered a good device in its first version, but it needs updating and development, as my three- and four-year-old children do not communicate with it well, and there are some errors in terms of the battery, which runs out quickly and slow charging.
