Visiting the Wyndham Singapore hotel. Paid for breakfast for a week. Poor choice of breakfast food for people from the west. No bottled water supplied. Only filtered drinking water from a tap? is it safe! As a visitor I want a fresh bottle supplied each day or collect from concierge on way out like most quality hotels.

There were 2 ladies who we spoke to on elevator. they stated they were going to complain. Attempted check in yesterday (Monday…
Attempted check in yesterday (Monday August 17) at about 6pm. I was in town conducting a cooking class at the Legacy Ranch, a 25,000 sq ft private estate in the area.(HIGHLY recommend, by the way.) As the class ended I was feeling increasing ill, and by the time I loaded my truck with my entire BBQ kitchen, I vomited several times before leaving. I was recently prescribed a glp from my provider for sleep apnea, and while I had the occasional bout of nausea and occasional vomiting, this was different. Do you know the feeling where it takes too much energy to lift your head, and you just want to curl into the fetal position and die?...yeah that was me when I arrived at the front desk. I had not eaten all day and was dry heaving, as there was nothing in my stomach but the little water I was drinking to prevent dehydration.
Initially, the front desk agent was very helpful, she offered to let me sit in the lobby as she processed the reservation. I explained that I had the chills, and would need to go outside. She requested to run a credit card for $250 deposit, and I explained that it was on Google Pay on my phone and handed it to her. She seemed dumbfounded and said she did not believe they took Google pay..she wanted a card number exp. date, cvc code, etc...which my wallet Google wallet does not provide for obvious reasons. Meanwhile I got sick again in the trash can outside the hotel, and begged her to hurry and figure it out. By now, she had called a maintenance man for back up, to whom she asked "...do we take Google Pay?" (Yes, she asked the guy who drives a golf cart around the propery about accepted payment methods). to which he just shrugged his shoulders. At this point I was desperate, and I retrieved my business phone to see if I could obtain the bed Id paid for. No luck...as I was bent over the trash can outside, the maintenace man returned and told me that I was being asked to leave the property immediately, or he woukd call the police. Dumbfounded, I asked him why and he responded "we don't want you making a scene in front of our customers, (there were none in the fifteen minute exchange) and my general manager, was afraid I would be sick in our room." "So, leave the property NOW or I'll call the police and they will be here VERY fast."
When I called the next day and spoke with the General Manager Cindy, she explained it was actually the assistant g.m. Crystal Cruze who oredered me off the property from her phone, presumably at home.
On a brief converstation with them on conference, the next morning they again said they do not accept Goole Pay for the $250 deposit, (unlike virtually every other retail merchant in America with a modern card verifier) I said "...really? Then how is it that my Paypal account was attepted a charge from your hotel for $250 last night at 6 pm??" There was a pause, and Cindy replied "It was declined"
"But, you just told me that you dont have the capacity or inclination to accept the payment method in the previous sentence?
At this point I requested her Supervisors contact information, to which Cindy declined to furnish either a name or phone number for her supervisor.

BAYMONT SUITES by Wyndham Tempe, AZ
BAYMONT SUITES - Tempe, AZ
This is the report I sent to Wyndham corporate to get a call practically telling me that I should mind my own business.
I have to say I saw the worst display of customer service in my entire life at this hotel. The “front desk manager”, her words not mine…made an idiot out of herself. And if the manager actually gave her the surveys done after the patrons check out of the hotel, shame on them as the surveys state they are confidential.
The front desk manager approached a man and began yelling at him. Literally, yelling. “Why would you call me a lazy person or a liar?” She asked. The man said “since I have been here you have claimed to have done this or that for me and I have not seen anything such as getting the flood in my room repaid. Until I called a plumber last night to come repair it. You said multiple times that you had taken care of it. The maintenance man said you didn’t say anything to him, then how many times have you claimed you were going to do this or that and had a positive impact on my stay here? Absolutely none. Malachi, Sayed and Passar work. They are honest. They know what customer service is.” She spouted off this and that but never made any sense. To be quite frank, her use of profanity is outrageous at best.
After the man told her he would call customer service, she said “we look forward to seeing your report because Moufasa (spelling possibly incorrect) will just throw it in the trash like all of the others ones that are from bitchy people.” The man said “so you are going to make me check out, leave for being honest??” To wit she replied “this must be something you are not used to. People like you that have been handed everything they want and never have to work for it are not worthy of respect. Mercedes, dress nice, even your matchy-matchy iPhone, iPad, AirPods, MacBook…sickening!”
The man walked away after telling her to have a good day. I walked back to the counter and Leslie was talking to the woman who was working the breakfast area and she continued to talk negatively about the guy who just walked away. She said “he has a brain tumor and he deserves to die!” I am still in shock and appalled. I wish I would have been able to film it all. But I am never prepared for anything like I saw at Baymont / HoJo Hotel.
I am putting photos on of the property and I hope you will see this is what the property looks like today.

Baymont by Wyndham Des Moines North
I stayed in the Baymont by Wyndham Des Moines North. This was honestly one of the most disgusting pile of dirt hotels I've ever stayed in. There were bugs in the room... living and dead. The room was not clean. It had not been vacuumed, the bathroom tiles had dirt on them, all items like shampoo and conditioner were empty and not even put into the dispensers. The continental breakfast included nothing but cereal and waffles, but good luck getting to either of them without your shoes sticking to the floor. The entire building smelled horrible. I was of course directed by the hotel staff to take my complaints to priceline because I booked through a third party. DO NOT STAY HERE. STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE!

The Wyndham Best Rate Guarantee is a…
The Wyndham Best Rate Guarantee is a sham. I booked direct and submitted 6 separate online offers within 24 hours that were lower. They refused to honor their policy. I booked at a much lower rate through Kayak and cancelled the higher priced direct booking. I spent over an hour on the phone with Diamond Rewards Customer Service only to be directed to submit an additional rate guarantee form online.

Wyndham brand Ramada has huge 2026 Bed Bug Problem across U.S.
This post is about a huge bed bug problem at one of the Wyndham brands: Ramada properties across the U.S. I wouldn’t post this unless I felt confident of its truth and felt a real obligation to give the public a heads-up. I’m very involved in the travel and hospitality industries, and I’ve been hearing rumors about shockingly problematic bed bug outbreaks at Ramada hotels in the U.S. I did some research recently about this, and it does seem like Ramada has a real problem on its hands: they keep having devastating bed bug incidents at many of their hotels. My research seems to suggest that this Ramada bed bug problem is real and affecting many Ramada hotels. I don’t know enough yet to be able to definitively talk about it, and the info I have so far can not be depended on yet, but there seems to be no question that this 2026 Ramada bed bug crisis is actually happening. My advice, based on my many years of experience, is that it is clearly unwise to stay at any American-based Ramada hotel right now, in the summer of 2026. If you absolutely must stay at a Ramada, be smart about it. Before you check in, ask to see the room and do a quick but serious inspection. Best to bring a flashlight with you, and use it to carefully inspect the nooks and crannies of the room. Pull off the sheets on the bed and look carefully on the mattress for any bed bugs or signs of bed bugs. Look everywhere where bed bugs could conceivably be.
