This company has some of the WORST customer service I have ever experienced. First, they charged weeks before anything was shipped. Then there was at least a month's delay in shipping. When I found out the coats are made in a country that does not value human rights, I asked to cancel my order. It took days for someone to answer me. The order was still active 3 weeks later. Once it was actually cancelled, I was told it can take up to 5 weeks for a refund! Outrageous!

This rating is driven by the customer service and product shipment delay I experienced. I ordered a winter coat from Mia Melon in October. It was a "pre-order" and was delayed shipment to November. Once I finally received the coat, I realized the coat did not fit and they had shipped the incorrect size (I ordered a medium, they sent a large). I tried contacting Mia Melon through all their available customer service channels (Chat on website and email) and did not receive a response for a full month. When they finally did contact me, i received a non-descriptive text message from an unknown phone number. In responding to them, I was able to get a return authorization to get a refund for my coat and they indicated I would be refunded in 5-7 business days. Even though they sent me the wrong size, I had to pay for my own return shipping out of pocket ($14) to send the coat back to them. After it was confirmed delivered, I reached out 3 separate times to get a confirmation of the return. I got no response via email nor text message. I ended up checking their website and I found their responses were going to a chat box on their website and not directly to me. I have never experienced this gap in communication with an online retailer before. Upon finally connecting with them, they indicated it would be 5-7 WEEKS to get a refund. I finally ended up disputing this charge with my credit card company once I had confirmation that my return delivery had been received. $14 out of pocket for delivery fees and now almost 4 months later, I got my money back. DO NOT waste your time taking a gamble on an order with this company. Customer service is unacceptable and while you may receive a coat you end up liking, if anything goes wrong in the process you're simply out of luck.

I have twice tried to order a coat, both times were unsuccessful. The first time I was told that the colour I wanted was oversold, but I could order an alternate pre-order colour that would ship in three weeks. Three weeks went by and I contacted customer service to be told the coat would ship at the end of the week. This happened weekly for almost a month... I would reach out inquiring where my coat was and they would reply it will ship “in a few days” or “shortly”. After a month (two months after the order was placed), I asked for a refund. They refunded my money, so I gave them the benefit of the doubt and tried to ordered a different coat. I received an email after a week saying the coat was in the process of shipping and today (almost two weeks after initially placing my second order) received an email saying it was oversold. The coats look great, but save your money and order from a reputable company that will actually send you what you order and pay for.

I placed an order on 10/10/20. As of today I still have not received my order and no one at the company will respond. I have contacted them via email, text, chat, and called the corporate number. Still no response so I have had to file a dispute with PayPal. Very poor customer service. They blocked me from posting my complaints on their social media as well but did finally refund my money. It took filing a dispute for that to occur however.

This company will only allow you to return a full priced jacket. If it’s on sale you are only allowed to exchange. It’s a pretty confusing return policy, it doesn’t really support the customer, just the business. What businesses will not let you return items that are new and unworn, especially if the customer is unsatisfied. Also, why not be a bit more transparent with your strange non return policy? Maybe you wouldn’t offend potential customers then...? They are also not very good with customer service. I asked a question 10 days ago and haven’t heard a peep... I will not be supporting this company. I live in a mountain town and experience lots of types of weather. These jackets are more stylish then functional. You can get better quality without the hassle.

This is by far the worst experience I had with a retailer. Delayed shipping (they take more than a month to ship orders), unresponsive customer service when you have issues (they respond after weeks to emails and sometimes they ignore your message as if they haven't seen it), a very lengthy return process (it will be months before you get a refund), and so on and so on. I will never buy from this company if they offer me a 90% discount on their items. Mia Melon isn't the usual stores you buy from, here in the U.S. They don't care about their business or their image. Honestly, I don't even care to comment about the quality of their products as their service is terrible.

I ordered a coat from this company's website in November of 2019 and it was a very cute style and I think would be a flattering cut for most people however it was slightly less quality than I expected for the price point (stitching wasn't straight) and the color was different from the website. I returned the coat immediately. But it took no less than 13 emails and several phone calls. 2 months later I got my money back--With a snarky email to boot--as if its unreasonable to expect your money be returned in a reasonable time. They said 2-4 weeks, but 4 weeks passed with no word. I emailed and waited another week with no response. I feel if I hadn't called, they would have tried to keep my money and hoped I forgot. If you are at all unsure about your online purchase I'd recommend shopping elsewhere. It is a huge hassel to return items.

Horrible company. Management is drunk and harasses females. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM - They are rude, mean, and DO NOT CARE about people - Especially Females. BE AWARE when you work with a company like this! They should evaluate their morals - probably have none!
