My children for the 1st time ever her excited to do their schoolwork. I have never been more excited to hop on with them and encourage their joy to learn, then with this program. Being able to set up the curriculum and add what I want for extracurricular activities is wonderful. And it's so cool that they allow the parent to reward the children extra gold with certain at home tasks being completed.

We switched from traditional book homeschooling to this. I will neverrr go back. There is so much customization you can do. You can assign full subjects, or specific units in a subject, or even just certain lessons. You can reassign if you feel your child isn't ready to move on, but I feel they review and test them enough to understand the subject, it can be repetitive, but with my kids I feel they need that to make sure they actually understand and didn't just correctly guess. You can set a min. grade % they need to achieve to pass. Its interactive with videos or PDFs you have the option to print out for written work. 1 of my children was so unmotivated with books and doesn't like to sit still for long periods and he can't read, but he's had no problem navigating all the work he needs done that done by himself and sitting there to complete it. I don't know if it's the interactiveness of it, or the constant positive reinforcement, or seeing that he accomplished something each time he gets it right, but he has taken to it like a sponge. The reward system with the gold or badges does keep them engaged and wanting to move forward. Assigning your school year, days you want certain subjects done, and holidays is SO easy. Plus you can print report cards any time, for any time period. I've only had to contact customer service once to change our subscription. They were so friendly and resolved exactly what I needed. There's also the whole other side of the site that unlocks once their work is done. It has games, shops, customizing, their own castle to decorate. You could absolutely use this program as a core program or customize it to be supplemental. I just LOVE this program.

The company answers back quickly and works to resolve any issues. My kids love the program, it is very informative with videos, and interactive learning. My kids also enjoy being able to connect with other kids around the world. I enjoy the ease of the parental portal, and being able to reassign lessons that child may be struggling with. It's been a great overall experience.

Miacademy is excellent! I had originally started my kids on another program but it required you to "watch their science program once a week" in order to get their so-called "discount. After switching to Miacademy, we have had so much less stress, saved a ton of money and my kids actually enjoy the program, and it's fully customizable! I can set which days my children do which subjects. I can schedule our own winter and summer vacations. Assign days off or make their birthday a "holiday"! I am so glad I switched my kids. I am actually looking forward to the high-school program "mia-prep". I really appreciate that they offer sibling discounts and yearly subscription discounts. It saves me a lot of money.

I was skeptical about online schooling, but Miacademy has been the best choice we have made for our kids’ education. I don’t have to worry about anything it’s super easy to navigate and easy for my older kids to do on their own.

I really appreciate both the chat function and the ability to submit a ticket and see the path toward resolution. The ticket is a great way to help self-update. With the situation I had it was a quick fix, so I did not have to utilize the ticket, but I appreciate its functionality. The two team members I worked with were fast and knowledgeable. They not only solved my immediate issue, but gave me some steps to try myself if it ever happened again.

I did a one month trial of Mia academy and all about ice cream. We loved it so much we bought family lifetime of both Mia academy and Mia prep. I have 7 children and health issues, this program helps them to study more independently and enjoy the learning process. They love all the positive reinforcement as well.

As a mom just starting out this year with homeschooling our Kindergartener I've been a little bit *all over the place* so to speak. Trying some of everything, like Khan Academy, Easy Peasy, tons of workbooks from different sources and our daughter hated school so far. She would always ask "how much longer"? And I never knew the answer because there was no schedule and I just wanted to make sure that we were touching on everything. We started Miacademy for their trial and we're not even half way through the 30 days, but we're going to be getting the lifetime membership. Felicity loves it. She knows exactly what she has to do for her to be done. She likes feeling that she's in control of the outcome by knocking out her boxes in the learning path and she really doesn't argue anymore. If I ask her what she prefers, she says Miacademy and that says a ton. It's not really about me. It's about her.. I also appreciate to no end that we receive reports on her progress and how much time she's working on each subject, because we will eventually be tracking hours and now I can print them up. I love that!!! Thank you so much for simplifying things. I think we were just making it harder than necessary before.
