Worst experience ever, everything about this bus ride was horrible from beginning to end. The bus arrived a hour and a half late, the driver was unapologetic. The driver (Sean) was very rude he was not helpful at all, he stood around he didn’t offer help load or unload the bus. Once we got on the bus nothing worked from the the tv’s the charging ports and most importantly the bathroom were all broken . The smell from the bathroom was horrific there was no toilet paper or hand soap. We all notified the driver and his response was “oh well get over it who cares”😡. I would never ever use this bus company again, for the amount of money we paid our experience should not have been this bad. Please look elsewhere you will definitely be disappointed 😔 We need to be compensated in some way shape or form this was very unacceptable. Oh I almost forgot he brought his dog along for the ride. UPDATE!!!! They took what we had to say into consideration, they were very understanding and apologetic. They were willing to help in any way. I can appreciate that, I may even give them a second chance

They did the right thing in the end despite the problem

I have used this company in the past, flawless service, great experience. This last time, not so great. I booked a shuttle with Tyler and thought we were all set. The driver was late, did not give updates as to the situation and basically ruined a wedding reception with guests having to ferry each other to a wedding reception with no on street parking. And then the driver states she is leaving early. WOW! Tyler promised to help see this matter thru, put us in touch with another person. I have in writing that a refund is forthcoming VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH HOW THIS MATTER HAS BEEN HANDLED. Update - We were asked to revise our review in order to get our refund, here it is. They finally made good with refund.

They must have subleased the contract to local bus company. One of the bus had not show up on time without notification. When I called the driver, he said the bus was broke down on the way. I canceled the bus since we can't use it on time and requested for a refund. They refuse to refund and saying the traffic cause the lateness and no refund. They are breach the contract since they did not keep the itinerary on schedule. They offered a credit $500 toward the next lease instead a refund $1,210. This was the worst experience with a charter bus company I have had. Later, after I claimed through BBB, they responded with a refund. I wish they treated the customer right at the first time. Although one of the other bus served us on that day was dirty and smelly which I was displeased, the driver was very friendly and nice that made me a smile.

UPDATE: Metropolitan Shuttle has refunded me for the poor service and reported that they have restructured their booking system to avoid incidents like this in the future. Their sales director, Ben Knowlton, was very helpful and has restored my trust in the company. ** I received a horrendous service experience with Metropolitan Shuttle during a recent round-trip bus service booked by my group for service from Cambridge, MA to Ithaca, NY. Weeks prior, I had been in communication with Karl Lorquet to arrange busses for the trip. After the signed contract and payment was sent in, I contact Karl five times between the dates of February 27 and March 2, 2017 to confirm the contract. Despite these efforts, I received no response. When I called yet another time on March 2, 2017 to confirm the booking, I was told by Ted that all was in place and a bus would be prepared for our departure. On March 3, 2017 at 1:30pm, the previously confirmed time, no such bus was present. When I contact Karl, there was no response. Consequently, I then called the main line for Metropolitan Shuttle four more times. Of those four times, not once was I correctly directed to a helpful human recipient. The first three times, I was transferred to a line that went to voicemail. The fourth time, I was hung up upon. The fifth phone call put me in contact with Jackie, and from there it took more than 45 minutes for her and her team to ascertain the status of our sales order and the bus. At this point the the choir had been waiting outside for over 1.5 hours. Jackie assured that it would be 40 minutes until the bus showed up; however, contrary to her assurances, a bus did not arrive until 1.25 hours later.Our group did not depart until 3:30 PM on March 3, 2017 - a full two hours after our scheduled departure, as confirmed on our contract. This extreme delay in service and unprofessional communication was appalling, and this experience has put myself and my group off of booking Metropolitan Shuttle ever again.

I have used Metropolitan Shuttle for the past 3 years for an annual event. Every year we go to the same destination. Last year and more emphatically this year I asked Elena to make sure the driver knew where the destination was because the people on the bus that go are from out of town and do not know the area. This year, our attendees lost 30 minutes at the destination due to the driver got lost. I will be contacting someone local going forward for our event.

I have worked with Metropolitan for the past 3 years when I bring students to NYC. This was the only year I had trouble. The pick up at LaGuardia was great but when we get ready for the return things got very stressful. For some reason the main office could not find my info in the system, even though I had the confirmation #, invoice # - everything! It took almost 2 hours or phone calls and being switched to 5 different people to finally find us in the system. By that time, I had missed most of an important workshop I should have attended with my students. The drivers have been great, but the office system needs work!
