Buyer beware when you are told they are giving you a gift, you check your bank account and find you were charged for this so call gift after all . On Valentines day took my dad in to buy him another flip phone at the 5540 Monterey HWY San Jose. He had lost his , at the conclusion of getting the phone activated, the lady put 2 items on the counter and said these are gifts, Happy Valentines Day. When I went to run his credit card the amount was way to high for just the phone and turning it on. She said not to worry, those items need to be on the receipt so it does not look like I stole them, their total amount of $ 87.48 will fall off before it goes through to the bank . In checking the bank account the next day the full amount of $182.11 was charged. I called and spoke to the manager, she was no help at all, Telling her these were to be free items I don't think she knew how to add. She was of no use. Waste of my time. I called the company and filed a complaint. Today I call the store back to get a address. the gentleman I spoke to said he would reach out to the district manager. I then got a call back from the person who sold me the phone and she tried saying , this was a bundle, maybe she did not explain it right to me. BS you said it was a gift and a gift is free , etc etc .So then now I will have to drive back down there and return the items to get a credit. So BEWARE when they say here this is a gift . To make it clear I did not ask for these 2 items, the word bundle was never mention, but what was say.. 2 free gift

The reason I signed up was because it said $25 a month unlimited after I purchased the first month they changed it to $30 a month limited this company are dishonest don't use them I really don't feel comfortable with this service and I think I'm going to take the loss of this month and just switch to another plan without waiting for this month to end

Since we have have been customers of this store for many years, he went to this Metro store to have a virus removed. We have never been charged in the 10+ years for any phone problems, but Steve said it would cost $25 to push a few buttons to remove the problem,. My husband unfortunately paid the $25 in cash. He asked for a receipt and Steve scribbled one on a piece of scrap paper. When husband arrived home, he called Metro customer service to see if this was their policy to charge $25 for phone virus removal services. Metro customer service said this is NOT their policy to charge customers for this service. He went back to store but they had closed for the day, The next day he went to get a refund , the employee there on Monday said this is what they charge to remove a virus and customer service does not know what they are talking about.. I have filed a complaint with Metro .

Worst company ever, this company allows the computer to adjust things and issues for it. My bank flagged them as being fraudulent. They are now refusing me to pay over the phone or on the app. With cards I’ve been using for years. Won’t give me an extension because of the issue last month and it being within 30 days. Once your phone goes off, they want you to pay with cash. Which means take money out your bank, possible atm fee, pay an additional $5 on top of your bill or burn out your gas. This company is not worth all that with its shity service. Service barely works. Especially, traveling. I e had them for over 10 years and that doesn’t matter. They don’t care if you’ve had them 20 years long as they’re getting your money. Pissed me clean off.

They have now updated their system to include a time limit for entering the code they send to the phone number. If you are too slow for the system, even after entering the code, it says sorry I could not verify your account. I wish I could provide proof that would show that I'm not lying in anykind of way. Still, I don't have the option to provide it anyway, from there I don't know my code, as it was never given to me, so I could not do a payment extension before the update came in. I was able to do it just fine. Now, it's very hard and inconvenient. Also, I have updated this review to include when I paid my bill. However, my bill had been paid in full, but their system tried to say that my full payment was not yet paid in full. Still, when I tested it by opening YouTube when I was away from home, it loaded in after the system tried its trick to trick me into paying a lot more for my bill than what my bill really was.

Metro by T-Mobile unlawfully ported my phone number without authorization and caused a complete and ongoing loss of service that has severely affected my work and personal life. On 12/22/2025, I contacted Metro by T-Mobile only to inquire about porting my number from Mint Mobile. I provided account details for verification purposes only. I did not authorize the port, did not make any payment, and clearly understood that no port would occur unless I completed payment and activation. Despite this, Metro proceeded to port my number anyway. My Mint Mobile service was disconnected, and my number was left in a non-functional limbo with Metro. I had no active Metro account, no service, and no ability to make or receive calls or texts. On 12/27/2025, I went to a MetroPCS store in Hatfield, PA, where I was told the issue could be resolved if I paid $27.89 just to get my number back. I paid the amount and have the receipt. Two days later, Metro suspended my number again. When I returned to the same store, I was told “there is nothing we can do” and received no refund, no solution, and no accountability—only apologies. This situation has caused serious professional harm, as I rely on this number for work and communication with clients and my employer. Metro’s actions demonstrate a complete lack of safeguards against unauthorized porting and an unacceptable failure to resolve a critical issue they caused. I strongly warn others: Do not trust Metro by T-Mobile with your phone number. If something goes wrong, you may be left without service, without support, and without answers. I wrote about this matter to FCC, they said that they give them 30 days to answer, I am waiting for them to get back to me, but the damage has been done already. You can find a title to this company but not me of course empty stays always empty.

CO. My metro pcs. My phone is broken so I cant use it and I cant change my phone or service provider because Metro wont talk to me without sending a pin to the broken phone. the store wants $75.00 to do it with my id. What a farce.
