MetaMaskReviews of metamask.io

...SO BAD... The platform is the most ineffective platform I have ever come across. I send the funds (ETH) First of all so pricy to trade (GAS FEE), second very very super highly slow, AND this is still the time after two weeks I can not withdraw my fund at all. AND if you attend to cancel each transaction you submit it will charge a cancellation transaction fee at around 4 to 7 Euros PER CANCELLATION - and the only way I have seen my funds actually moving is every time I have cancelled a transaction so it has charged the fees every time. I recommend that you use a trading platform instead of this "extension"... SO BAD...

I was twice targeted by scammers in the last month. I reported this to the Metamask team and the sites I tried to connect to. The reaction was very poor with little care of responsibility. I suggested they put these Telegram and other scams onto their front page of their website so as to inform people before they get scammed and not after. I lost $8000 in Trustswap token using Metamask after I was targeted and nearly lost $5000 of Ethereum a month before due to a Metamask issue ( that's another story ) but I managed to work this out and retrieved my funds. Also I was targeted yet again but this time I saw in advance before I sent my funds. Phew. Metamask do not have a Telegram group to help people but yet there are scammers with Metamask Telegram groups scamming people with no prior warning coming from Metamask. Why? They claim they have asked Telegram to close them down but we all know Telegram close no-one. It is a dangerous program that is extensively attacked due to it's high usage. Scammers are having an absolute party with this app. And why not, people are making so much profit on crypto anyway. So they justify. I believe that Metamask is in on this scam. They run a legitimate company with one arm and run the scams with the other hence they don't warn their users prior to being scammed but only after. Try to find one of their email addresses, impossible. Are they hiding? I managed to find an email at the end of their Terms and Conditions, the only one I managed to find. Why put the only contact email at the end of a T&C's PDF file? Unless you are making yourself hard to contact. Why make contact hard? I have concluded with my observation of Metamask that it is part company, part scam. Also, see YouTube video from 5 months ago by Crypto Tips called "Think Twice Before Using Metamask" to see just how much we compromise our security using this app. One other thing, the Metamask email beginning with info@ that trustpilot has does not work. They've closed it.

Scam. Fake crypto prices

scam scam scam stay away

Scam. Avoid this plugin. They make money off trapping your funds and cancellation fees.

This extension is designed by thieves for thieves. Anything goes into a metamask wallet will not come out. They are tracking your tokens, and making sure it doesnt leave, it's a bunch of them working together. It's designed by them to charge $170 for gas or leave your token there until its hacked, no way out. DO NOT USE METAMASK!!!

Terrible, always failing transactions even when you adjust the settings to what the error report tells you to, charging gas outside of the agreed-upon range. I don't mind the high gas fees, I do mind not being able to trust who I'm holding my money with.

I am 34 years old, have been using crypto since the beginning 2009 when bitcoin was launched. i have also build my own mining rig before, meaning i have a ton of experience with crypto in general. i have never had any issues such as this online before, plus i am an IT technician for over 16 years, so i know my ways around online. i contacted MetaMask about the issue and i gave them the suspects MetaMask address and guess what, MetaMask does not help at all, will not even mention that they will at least stop them from wiping more accounts. i ended up personally following the suspects address for days and realised that they kept on wiping many more accounts and exchanging all to Tether, only to withdraw funds soon after, but where is MetaMask? not even trying to stop them when i gave them the suspects details to MetaMask.
