Commenter ITse says 1000s of ppl have been complaining about unauthorised transactions. My experience is nil. I do though want to stress that I had app unused on my phone, then attempted to install the extension on my laptop. It informs me metamask can read and change all your data on the websites you visit and modify data you copy and paste. This was a massive red flag and I didn't continue, then removed app from my phone. I'd advise against this use of this app, dodgy if you ask me. So what ITse said about people experiencing unauthorised transactions could be seen as them scamming? Someone explain this please, and how they can get away with it!

MetaMask has been contacted by thousands about unauthorised transactions. They have poor customer support and blame the customer for their data breach. It is not safe. Google MetaMask hacked before using it. You may wake up to 1000s missing from your account.

Oh wow metamask. You are a true peice of work. Stealing peoples money. Then you say you cant payback the fee after a failed transaction!!!! Outrage!! I'll be sending you a letter from my lawyer. Theives!!!!!!! You better start getting your math right. My gas was set at 200000 and only used 177000 then you say my transaction failed and still charge me the fee for 50 some odd dollars to buy LABS with eth. Disgraceful that is for sure do not EVER put you money in this app. Got what ever funds you have out and higher a lawyer. These people are scum.

Poor experience, i asked for the swap of my transaction and in return they took swap fees of 96$ but and then commented that swap failed

Look for wallets with 2 or three factor authentication. MetaMask has a single source of failure, the seed phrase, and I think this is getting simple for the criminals. I was cleaned out. My fault, but I think it could happen to anyone. They say crypto is transparent, but it is not yet
