All the 1 star reviews are true
All the reviews are true. I had to re-enter my password and secret recovery phase and when they "entered" my account all my wallet adresses were different! I LOST ALL MY FUNDS FROM MY WALLET. THIS COMPANY IS A BIG SCAM. HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND PUTTING YOUR DIGITAL CURRENCY HERE. I have gambling sites that keep my money safer. I'm so glad it was only a little bit of money. WISH I WAS ABLE TO SUE THIS ENTIRE COMPANY

Account derivation is a deterministic process (EG: enter the same 12 words, in the same order; you'll get the same accounts back in the same order. More detailed explanation and some things to check here: https://support.metamask.io/configure/accounts/my-secret-recovery-phrase-private-key-restored-the-wrong-accounts) We never have access to users accounts. Reach out to our helpdesk: https://support.MetaMask.io > 'Contact Support' button. The bot will ask a few questions then get you connected.

Lowly scammers
Lowly scammers. They won't let me into my account even though I haven't forgotten my password. After entering the twelve phrases and a new password, the site just hangs. I followed all the support instructions and nothing changed. I can't log into my account at all.

A MetaMask representative contacted me…
A MetaMask representative contacted me and told me that I had funds frozen by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and that I needed to open a MetaMask account and deposit money to unfreeze my funds. I opened the account and started transferring money, but after each transfer, they asked me for another amount until the total exceeded $25,000. However, I never received my money. After two years, the representative turned off his phone and never responded again. Ali Alrasbi Sultane of Oman

We will never contact our users directly. We don't ask for any of our users information (name, email, etc) so we don't have a way to contact them in the first place. Reach out to our helpdesk: https://support.MetaMask.io > 'Contact Support' button. The bot will ask a few questions then get you connected.
