Meredith LodgingReviews of meredithlodging.com

We arrived at Guinever Cottage and were pleasantly surprised at the quality, cleaniness and location of the accommodations. The household items were a joy to use and your saying of "just bring your food" were right on. We were looking for a home in Yachats and had the cabin been for sale we would have bought it in a minute... as it was we found a place and are moving there in 2 weeks. Your people and service are great... thx to Suzannah, Jennifer, Betty and Bob(?) were so helpful re finding the place and setting up my wi-fi connection. Since returning home I have advised all my friends who are coming to visit to use Meredith Lodging, you are a great organization.

Very good people and beautiful well managed property.

My family stayed at a fairly expensive house in Sunriver, Oregon for our family vacation. We wanted a decent size house with a hot tub, so we decided on Pole House 15. Upon arrival we noticed there was no WiFi password left for us, and the hot tub was cold, but running. We figured they just turned the hot tub on so we will give it a few hours to warm up. As suggested, we used the app to communicate our request for the WiFi password. We immediately received a phone call with the password.... but it was not the correct password. We were told we would receive another call the following morning with the correct password. That phone call never came. We wrote another request for the password and a solution to the cold “hot tub.” Still silence... for the remainder of our stay. I understand these amenities sometimes fail. But to completely ignore your guests requests is unprofessional and bad business. To this day, a week later, we still have not heard anything from Meredith Lodging except a message with the check out procedure and a message claiming “ We hope you enjoyed your stay!” I can not recommend Meredith Lodging to anyone who might be considering them. I vacation and travel for work regularly and this was the worst customer service experience I have encountered while away from home.

Rented the Margareta Ville house recently. Don't do it!!!!!! I don't know where to begin. No shelves in the refrigerator door, one crisper missing, no stove light, no stove fan, no microwave light, cookware needed to be thrown out. BBQ not usable, hot tub in poor shape {controls inop}. Master closet full of crap so you couldn't hang anything up. No hot water when we discovered it at 10:00 at night. 5 lights either not working or burned out. Basement smell of mold so bad we couldn't use it. Hot water restrictor in the upstairs bath set so low everyone had to shower in the master down stairs. Paid over $600 for two nights and what a waste of money. House needs serious attention and apparently they {Meredith Lodging} holds their clients to a very low standard. Shared my experience with Bella property rentals and quickly realized I should have rented from them. Bottom line, stay away!!

We arranged for a family reunion at "Getty House" VRBO property listing 749656. We booked this property through Meredith Lodging. We picked it because the listing said that this property had a hot tub. My sister, who booked this property and who has all her emails to verify our questions about said hot tub, asked more than once if the hot tub would be ready. In fact the company confirmed that the hot tub would be available two days before our arrival. When we arrived there was NO HOT TUB. We immediately contacted Meredith Lodging and were told that the owners must have removed it, but when we examined the entire property, it was very clear that there had never had a hot tub on site--ANYWHERE!! As well, the home reeked of cat urine. We followed their procedures for issues and emailed their guest relations team. Here is what Meredith Lodging offered us a refund: $75 off the $175 cleaning fee and a $100 credit for a future stay. We paid almost $1400 for this booking! After I returned to my home in Canada I contacted them and spoke with a female booking rep. She told me that they would do nothing further for us, even after I explained that the credit could not be used by our anyone in our family because we all live so far away--in other states and in Canada. Meredith Lodging is unwilling to do anything further or give me a contact number for a supervisor. We will not deal with them again...we feel that their advertising was false and they were unwilling to help us in any way. I urge you to do research but to not DEAL WITH THEM...THE CUSTOMER IS TREATED VERY DISRESPECTFULLY!!! Beware!

There were 11 of us and all had a great time. Plenty of space everything worked great. Well supplied. Thank you very much.

This house is bigger than we expected. The outside makes it look old and small, but inside it was decorated like the beach and updated. The kitchen had everything you need. The furniture was comfortable. It was clean. The view was wonderful. We had 4 adults and 3 dogs and it worked out fine. The laundry area was big. The two bathrooms were full size. The hot tub was enjoyable. We loved the fire pit right in the backyard . The beach access was right off of the yard and about 15 steps and then a little path. It was pretty easy to access. The roads end area is great. The house is a little more expensive than the other ones that size but it was worth it. We will come back again.

Vacationing through Meredith Lodging was a breeze and exceeded our expectations. The home was amazing and our family cannot wait to go back!
