First time support request in Australia to the company has resulted in silence. Still waiting for a simple pre-purchase question to be answered after separate requests over 2 days. The website support phone number connects to TP Link and they forward request to Mercusys. Evidently, that's where momentum ceases. Edit 24/4/25 - The company responded promptly after I left this review BUT now there aren't any units of this model available on their Amazon AU website. I was considering bumping the star rating to a 3, but I just lost the enthusiasm.

Poor quality. The ME10 worked OK (just OK) so I tried the ME30, but it can't connect to the 5GhzWifi from my mobile. Configuration is sloppy, full of errors and disconnections. Support phone number in my country (Spain) doesn't even pick up. Disappointing. Also I should have checked Google Play reviews first, it's full of fake ones from bots. If a company does that then you know the quality is very bad. You can recognise those as you see usually 5 daily 5* star reviews with meaningless bot comments like "great app", "it has everything I need", "cool!!", "just what I needed", etc. Always check for these fake bot reviews (I forgot to do that), they are becoming more and more common on lowsy apps. Worst is Mercusys is from TP-Link so their reputation just went down the drain for me. I can't get a TP-link 4G router to work as backup, works fine as 4G router but it fails as failover. When a failover fails as failover... No bueno.

Halo H50g Mesh system. Save yourself a lot of time and random unexplained system drop-outs read a FAQ that says "Note: When Halo works in Router mode, it’s not suggested to connect more than 1 halo unit to the existing router directly, as it may cause a network loop." This caused me no end of frustration. For ethernet backhaul daisy-chain the Nodes. If using individual backhaul connections to a router set the Nodes in AP mode.

Very deficient and limited system. Technical support simply doesn't respond. It's as if it didn't exist. Don't waste your money.

Don't waste money buying this product, you will be extremely disappointed. The mesh WiFi is unreliable, and the software (iOS app) is a load of rubbish and very buggy.
