Basic, Mid Technology not worth the money
Lots of glitches in the technology. The AI makes things up that are not said in the session, and the notes rarely reflect what actually did happen. Don't know why that is, since it does record a transcript, though the transcript is rarely accurate, blending therapists words together with client. Customer service is polite but unreliable. The technology often fails, deleting notes, not recording some, and sometimes merging two client's under one and changing the name of one. This app is overpriced yet one of the only ones low enough cost to spring for it. Be advised: for $350 you're getting VERY basic, mid technology. If you want all the bells and whistles most therapists need, you're going to pay double that. And this company is far from worth that kind of money.

Hi, We’re sorry to hear this was your experience. Accurate transcription and reliable note generation are extremely important, and we understand how frustrating issues like missing recordings or client mix-ups can be. While AI-generated notes should always be reviewed by clinicians, the types of issues you described are not the experience we aim to provide. We’ve continued improving transcription accuracy, session handling, and platform reliability, and your feedback helps highlight where more work is needed. We do appreciate your note about our support team being polite, even if we fell short on consistency. If you’re open to it, we’d like the opportunity to review your account and investigate these concerns further at [email protected] — The Mentalyc Team
