Previously my experience has been pretty good - expedient and convenient care for non-urgent/non-serious medical issues. This time the provider was a bit defensive in response to a totally benign question and when I went to pick the medication up at CVS about 6 hours later, it had not been called in. Really frustrating.

I’ve always been pretty happy in the past this last time I explained my symptoms dr said it was viral even thought I explained my ears hurt and this lasted. I ended up paying to go to central care one day after paying for MeMD service and was told I had a dx of ear infection and bronchitis. Really wish the dr at MeMD would have listened to me when I said I needed prednisone and antibiotics I will probabily just go right to central care the next time and save the 57.00

MeMD hits it out of the ballpark in terms of convenience and the nearly obsolete wait time is impressive BUT the physician that I spoke with ended up prescribing a topical medication for a medical issue that requires an oral one. I had done a lot of research looking for home remedies to cure the problem and every respectable medical publication all shared the same opinion, the problem can't be cured by topical medications because it starts at the follicle, beneath the surface of the skin. To his credit he didn't want to prescribe the medication I suggested because it can cause liver failure (they dont publish those fun facts online!) and that was fine, plain old Diflucan would have been sufficient but between the cost of the visit and the cost of the useless topicAL medication I'm out $100 and STILL suffering from the same issue so thanks but no thanks. I'll skip MeMD next time.

It's was very fast a great. But I'm not sure I was given the right diagnosis cause I still have things on my hands. I also wish thee was a way to follow up after the healing time they say. I also free they need to use a people's insurance.

I met with a medical professional who agreed with my diagnosis of an issue (a minor ongoing thing for which I needed a refill). I was prescribed an inadequate dosage (4 pills, when a typical prescription is 30). If the doctor had prescribed the normal prescription and at least one refill, like an urgent care location would, this would have been a 5-star experience - everything else was great.

This service is ok. Was diagnosed as having a viral infection that I should just work thru when in actuality I had a sinus infection and needed antibiotics. The doctor was very pleasant, just wrong diagnosis.

Inaccurate diagnosis. I felt like Dr. was guessing off of google. I am in healthcare and even for our field he was pretty arrogant. I told him thanks and disregarded his comments. Honestly, he may have been reading someone else's history because his diagnosis truly made no sense. It was probably just the flu but I would try another site if I had to choose again.

Everything except the conversation with the provider (the most crucial part) was fine. The website was easy, the administrator was prompt and responsive in calling to verify details. The provider was a rude disaster though. He was judgmental, curt, rude, cut me off several times--and begun the conversation with a clipped, how can I help you? This, despite the detailed information I filled out, verified by the administrator, and right before him in the screen. He was nonresponsive to questions and was offended that I even asked to confirm that he had the right pharmacy. Not a good company rep, folks, especially for medicine practiced over the phone.
