Paul - thank you for providing this feedback. Our goal is to make MemberPress the easiest membership solution to configure, while balancing the need for design customization options that many customers require. I was surprised to see you were having complications trying to customize the look of your membership pages with Divi, because MemberPress has a built in integration with Divi. And there are thousands of websites successfully using MemberPress and Divi together (according to BuiltWith.com). However, with your help, we were able to quickly discover that it wasn’t MemberPress you were trying to customize in this instance, but a competing membership plugin. So, of course I was happy to learn that our team was still able to provide you with a custom CSS snippet to style your membership pages in our competitor’s product. And I’m glad they were able to get you directed to the other company’s support team. We wish you the best and hope you’ll try using MemberPress the next time you run into trouble with the other membership plugin you’re currently using.

We appreciate hearing from all of our customers and we're glad to hear that you found our customer support team to be nice and helpful. We agree, they are the best support team and continue to impress our customers. And thank you for providing your email address so I could look over your history of using MemberPress and find where we may be able to improve. I do want to clarify that some of the issues you experienced were not necessarily caused by MemberPress itself. In one instance our support representative informed you that you simply needed to update MemberPress Courses to the latest version, and that resolved your issue. I appreciate you mentioning the problem with course members' ability to ask questions and for those questions to be made visible to other students. It looks like our support team was able to demonstrate how you could turn on comments for the MemberPress Courses. Regarding the constant spamming issue, I want to assure you that we follow all email marketing regulations and best practices. We strive to provide relevant content to our subscribers. We do notify current customers when there is a special offer on upgrades. Many of our customers appreciate that. But you're right, not everyone loves it. Especially if you don't need to upgrade! I hear you, and have asked our Marketing Team to better segment our email subscriber lists so that we aren't over-messaging our current customers. Thank you again for sharing your feedback. Hi JP. Thanks for your candid feedback. We appreciate it. Just like any business, in order for us to make a world-class product and provide excellent service, we have to make money. MemberPress is a vibrant, constantly evolving product. Just in the last few months we launched an advanced quiz feature, a PayPal e-commerce integration, and Stripe Link integration. We’re now in development with Facebook to deliver a totally unique community experience for our customers, as well. These are just a few of the many features we simply can’t add or maintain without adequate resources. We wish you all the best on your website.

Dear Stephen, We apologize for your dissatisfying experience. Our support team is currently undergoing much-needed growth in order to provide our customers with quick and adequate responses. WordPress can be particular when it comes to customizing theme styles and its effect on logins and widget use. Generally speaking, if you want to change the style of something, without having to create your own Custom CSS , we recommend that you use a visual plugin like Yellow Pencil. While we will always find it difficult to receive negative feedback, we consider it an opportunity to grow as a company and improve our product and services.
