Yes they are lie on the presentation. they didn't tell you the truth that very hard to cancel your membership, and didn't say that you can't resale the products and that you have order anywhere from$60 to$100 a month for products or they just send you what ever and you have to pay for it.

Presentation of integrity not follow through for disabled customer
This is a comment about customer service and treatment, not the products. I have a mobility disability, and correctly faxed a cancellation form. They sent products I didn’t want to use, and after I verified proof of cancellation, they would not refund shipping. With my mobility disability I was not able to return products with in their window. It is unfortunate that they present does have an integrity, then do not follow through with integrity on their own mistakes. Too bad, I liked their bath oil.

Pain in the butt to get set up
Pain in the butt to get set up. Have to call a # then wait for someone to call you. I just want to go online and be able to order what I want and not jump through a million hoops and wait for a rep to contact me.

Why are the products so expensive?
Was invited by a long lost contact to have a simple breakfast, which turned into a 2 hour intro to this company. Long story short, it's a rebranded MLM model made sustainable by monthly recurring orders and fees vs a larger upfront payment.
You can make money if you're willing to monetise your friendships. You might even be willing to pay for their "alternative non toxic family products". My own opinion: expensive placebo. Ask for payout figures and percentage of "customers" that achieve said numbers in writing or print.

I worked customer service for about a year, but haven't worked there for a little over a year now, so I know a decent amount of ins and outs of the company. If you are going to be a customer please read all the way through and I can teach you how to get the most products for your money.
Brief information: as a preferred member you have to order thirty five points per month which equates to about eighty dollars. If you don't place an order in the calendar month they will send a package and charge your card for it. You cannot remove your card from their account if you're a preferred member, there always has to be at least one card on file. Also, if you get rid of your card so melaleuca can stop charging you, that won't work because your bank will actually provide your new card information to them to charge your new card. If you want to return a package, you pay return shipping and then they'll refund you for the original product price and tax but not for the original shipping cost. There's also a fee to start, I believe it's $19.
If you like their products but don't think you'll need 35 points each month or you just don't want to spend about $80 per month, here's what you should do. I recommend this for anyone who's not consistently taking their vitamins. Become a preferred member, order whatever you want at the preferred membership price, cancel that same calendar month (I'll explain how lower), then call back that same calendar month and ask for a refund for your membership fee of $19. Theyll refund you the membership fee if you cancel the same month you start. It's a little bit of a process, but it's the best way to get the most products without being stuck from month to month.
To cancel, they will not tell you this over the phone, but it's an option. Take any piece of paper and write the following information on it: name, date of birth, phone number, why cancelling, date, and signature. Then take a photo and email it to myaccount at melaleuca.com (I had to type their email address that way because I'm not allowed to include email addresses in the review). It takes them two to three business days to process it then you'll receive a confirmation email. If you don't get an email, then call a few days later and feel free to verify your account is cancelled. I recommend at that point having them remove your card from the account just in case or else your card is still on their records.

Very expensive products and they really…
Very expensive products and they really get you with their membership requirements. You have to continually purchase items even when you don't need them or they will send items and charge you anyway. Then when you try to cancel the membership they make it very difficult and if they owe you a credit, they will only give a partial back. Beware if you don't want to lose your money!!! Very disappointing!!
