I signed up for a membership for a year to "try" it out. This is a very shady company. Where does one begin? They test their products on animals :( (I didn't find out till after I cancelled my membership) I tried many different products, nothing at all special about them, most are subpar. They are no better or safer than store products. They contain harmful chemicals etc... just like many others. Most of the products I tried I actually didn't like them. I only liked one of the laundry detergents, but even then 90% of the scent disappeared when they went into the dryer, most of the scents of products disappeared quickly and or they didn't smell good. The products did not clean any better than a store brand. The products I find are very expensive compared to store brands. The little bit of food they do offer was terrible, very overpriced and small portions. You are "forced" to buy every month whether you need to or not. (I ended up having too much product and was "giving" it away) On top of the overpriced products you also have to pay all the shipping costs to have it delivered. You also have to pay shipping costs if you want or need to ship something back. You also have to pay "extra" for things like the pump for the hand soap and detergent, or spout/sprayer for the fabric softener or cleaners. It is ridiculous!!! It became very expensive very quickly for subpar products. They do NOT give samples of the products to try first at all. Dealing with the "middle" man or sponsor is a joke, they just want to make the money. It was difficult to cancel. So overall a very bad and expensive experience I hope many will avoid and stay away from this overrated company. I think the only "good" reviews are from the sponsors, the middle man who make the money for selling the products.

Products are good but they make it impossible to cancel. This is my third month to call and go thru their cancellation process. I hope it sticks this time.

I cancelled my membership within a week after signing up in January 2022. I did not like the product. I had to pay $10 to return which was fine I guess. Just 2 months later in March the company charged me for product I didn't order and now they want me to pay $10 to ship it back when I was told my account was cancelled. They refuse to honor the shipping at no cost to me and I'm out of $71.75 because of this error.

My parents got involved trying to help one of my aunt’s gain a income through Melaleuca. I didn’t like the idea that they would automatically receive an order over $200 worth of products even though they didn’t place an order. After becoming dissatisfied with the product, due to discomforting reactions, cancelled their membership. However, Melaleuca was still sending products and charging them as if the order was back ordered. My parents had cancelled a month in advance and cancelled the credit card that was used to enroll in the membership. However, they managed to charge their new card. They will receive a credit from their credit card company. Still, my advice to anyone considering a member with Melaleuca is to stay clear of this company.

It is easy to sign but the cancellation process is another story. I cancelled my membership and they claimed they did not receive the fax, so I was sent my back up order and charged for it. I called and let them know what happened. I was told that they did not receive my fax to cancel so they sent out my order, as agreed upon. I said that I wanted to send it back and was told that I had to pay $10.00 in order to do that. EVEN if I refuse the delivery, they will still take the money out of my refund. The owner is more concerned about lining his pockets than he is about customer satisfaction. The dollars you earn can't be used to purchase the items that count towards your monthly required 35 points. You can use them on items in your cart AFTER you get enough products to meet the monthly points. No matter what, you will be spending at least $60.00 a month on just products and then add in the $10.00-$15.00 shipping charges. Also, I had never looked into the individual ingredients used in their products. They claim to be non-toxic, yet they use OXYBENZONE in their sunscreen products, TALC in their deodorants, FRAGRANCE (essential oils included, but not the sole source) in many of their products that hide chemicals, and lots of "propriety" blends that they will not disclose the ingredients. You can enjoy the products, but understand that you are paying more for a product that is still toxic made by a dishonest and greedy company. There are MANY clean options out there that do no require a monthly minimum purchase and are truly clean. There are higher quality vitamins & supplements out there. Look at your labels and search PubMed for the scientific literature advising against the ingredients Melaleuca uses.

What a rip off company! Some products are great, but forcing you to spend about $75 a month to buy from them when you don't need products is a rip. Cancelled my 'membership' then went to buy a couple of things and they renewed the 'membership without my knowledge and charged me $67 as an auto order for crap I would never use the next month. Find a friend that uses $75 a month and get them to order it for you if you're that desperate

I enjoy most of their products but don't go to them if you ever have a problem, they have terrible customer service. I recently made an order the beginning of this month, literally days before they rolled out their new shipping reimbursement incentive. I called to request them to add the loyalty dollars to my account to reimburse my shipping, but they refused stating that it was made before the announcement and that there was " no way for them to know" that the announcement was being made before the 8th. There is no way that they couldnt go back into the system and retroactively add the loyalty dollars to a customers account if they really wanted to. Terrible customer service, definitely not putting the customer first.
