All they do is push out ur next delivery date and hope u forgot about it. Horrible customer service. The food is always inconsistent, either all melted, all solid and stuck together, too much peanut butter and not enough meat, meat is not mixed in all throughout the food just put on top of bag. Don’t do this, make ur own food it’s cheaper.

Ordered this raw dog food with excitement. Fed it to my dog immediately. My dog didnt want to know anything about it. Hated it. I tried one more time. My dog wanted nothing to do with this food. The food does look disgusting. The next day I called and told customer service that my dog hates your food, I want a refund. The request for the refund has to go through the owner. Just received an email that I was rejected for a refund, but, I could schedule a call with the owner if I choose. Imagine that! This company has only been in business for 2 years. 2 years more than it should of been. Kiss your money good bye.

Food initially was fine, we have been making our dogs food since he was a puppy. Food quality is now very poor, my dog won't even touch it. It's mostly veggies. Worst part is I've canceled my subscriptions now a third time. Note: Do not bother with their customer chat service. You'll get the following in some form of macro: "While we hate to see you go, we will process it for you." That doesn't do anything but delay the subscription, they'll start back up. I've now written hello@meetmaev[.]com - Apparently that's what you have to do for them to actually cancel the subscription. (fingers crossed)

We initially very happy with their beef recipe - lots of meat, great fruit and veggies. Our old dog loved it. Then a few months ago they changed the recipe - meat cut about in half, no fruit, tons of raw potatoes and green beans. Our dog ate the meat and left everything else. Don’t blame him - it looked nasty. Canceling the subscription is a terrible customer experience. You can’t do it from their site - you have to email them they do this because they keep trying to goad you into continuing the subscription. Free samples offered, special pricing, etc (I had three go arounds before they finally agreed to cancel it. Then two days later even more food shows up. At least they didn’t charge me for it, but I sent them a picture of it in my trash, where it belongs. Why fill up valuable freezer space on crappy food my dog won’t eat.

Customer service is pretty terrible and VERY slow to respond. I wanted to love this company and product so much but I just cancelled my subscription after about 6 months. And trying to cancel my subscription was such a headache. They just straight up ignored me the first two times I requested to cancel. It took me over 5 emails to get someone to respond to me and even now I’m still waiting for confirmation that they will go ahead and cancel. This company changed the formulation of their raw dog food without letting me (a subscriber!) know and my pup now refuses to eat the food. That’s very expensive food to just let go to waste. Speaking of expensive, they drastically reduced the red meat component, completely eliminated the peanut butter and filled it with potatoes and more veggies. My dog will not eat it now and I can’t say I blame him! When I inquired if they had changed the formula, I received a very passive aggressive email stating they reached out to subscribers and posted on their social channels about it. Well, it really bothers me when companies can’t take ownership of their mistakes, I NEVER received an email conveying this vital information and it shouldn’t be a prerequisite to follow a company’s social media channels in order to receive info like this. Additionally, this was not the raw foodstuffs diet I signed up for. This blend is cheap, unhealthy fillers with a tad of red meat thrown in. I cannot and will no longer recommend this company to anyone. There are other quality raw dog foods out there and I’d rather spend my money with a company that values me and my pup’s health and happiness.

I have been using maev for the last year and a half and it WAS great. I used to recommend this food to every dog with a sensitive stomach but now they switched over to a new formula and its mainly vegetables and barely any meat. And they added mainly raw potatoes which is toxic to dogs. The cost did not reduce for this quality and I am so disappointed and will have to find another food to give my dog.

They changed their formula to be all vegetables and potatoes, hardly any meat, not at all appropriate for dogs. Customer service unresponsive. We used to love Maev before the new formula. They pay influencers commission to push this product. Good luck finding customers to pay for a $180 bag of potatoes.

I've never dealt with such horrible customer service. You can't get in touch with anyone and when you do, they don't do what you asked them to do. I've been asking to cancel my subscription for weeks and each time they delay the delivery date. That's not what I asked! DO NOT SUBSCRIBE TO THIS! Also, not enough protein, mainly just vegetables. I'll NEVER use Maev again. DON'T DO IT.
