Updated Review as of 8/4/2025. Will update again after a couple months.
RE-EDIT AS OF 8/4/2025: So a supervisor from MedVidi just called me and we spoke for a while. He apologized profusely and sincerely, and he strongly assured me this would never happen again. I am not naive, but I am also not unreasonable or dishonest. I will give MedVidi a chance, and my hope is that this situation wont happen to anybody else. MedVidi is NOT a "bad" company, and they are NOT a "scam" either. The entire medical system is utterly broken and MedVidi is only going to improve if people like myself are honest and reasonable during unfortunate situations like this. I just want this problem today, to turn into a solution tomorrow. This is no way a reflection of my doctor, he is great and im very happy with him. MedVidi is the service that connects patients with the doctors but they also handle everything else too. You cannot just contact your doctor directly, instead it must be done through MedVidi. I had a very simple, yet urgent medication emergency because my pharmacy changed ownership with no notification and also cancelled my prescription without any notification. This is not MedVidi's fault, and this was not the Doctor's fault to be clear. But it was very much an emergency situation as my meds are considered "Critical Medication" that cannot be stopped abruptly. I contacted MedVidi immediately upon finding out when I tried to fill my prescription and was told about the issue by the Pharmacy. They responded after over an hour which I understand. They have a very high volume of patients. I am a very patient and understanding guy, I have worked a lot of jobs that had me working directly with customers so I never ever treat anybody working in a customer support job with disrespect, and I will never act entitled with them because I am not the center of the universe. I was told that my situation was being resolved right then and the team member I spoke with confirmed the new pharmacy with me and they had the right one. 2 hours pass and no response at all from MedVidi, the Pharmacy, or my Doctor. I checked with the pharmacy and they had not recieved my RX yet. So I called MedVidi and was told "the medical team is working on your problem right now. It will be resolved soon." And I just took him at his word. 2 more hours, no word from MedVidi, the pharmacy still had not recieved my prescription, and now when I called MedVidi they just did not answer. This was at about 3pm. I left a polite voicemail after waiting on hold for 10 mins asking for an update. No response for another hour, I try calling again and they still were not answering the phone after I waited on hold for 15 mins, I left another voicemail. Still nothing.. At about 5pm I tried using my patient portal to leave a new report about my problem and sent it. I decided to try calling again too, and someone answered! But he just told me it was being handled and would be taken care of quickly. I did not get the feeling he was taking this seriously as he sounded like he was almost asleep, but I naively took him at his word. Fast forward 3 more hours to 7:45pm and still no word at all from MedVidi about the situation, and the pharmacy closes at 8:30pm so im panicking now and Im feeling pretty awful because I had not had my medication that I was supposed to take at 6am. I call MedVidi and was shocked that someone answered, the female I spoke with actually cared, she actually helped me and was actually honest. She looks up my file and sees that the Doctor had rewritten, and authorized my prescription to be sent to the new pharmacy at around 5pm but MedVidi forgot to send my prescription into the pharmacy. She told me they would send it first thing in the morning. 6:30 this morning I call MedVidi and someone answered and he tells me that it takes 24-48 hours to switch pharmacies because of my medication being a controlled substance, which is not true and I respectfully told him that was not true. So then he pivots and tells me that my doctor was just too busy to help me.. also not true, but I just dropped it because I know he just walked into this situation and none of this was his fault, I told him that I was not angry at him or anybody, but that Im just very frustrated because this should not have happened. I sincerely thanked him for his effort in helping me and he told me the RX would be sent in soon. I was finally able to pick up my medication at 11am today, so nearly 48 hours without my meds that are critical. "Fiya" responded to a very long and detailed, but also respectful message I sent to MedVidi about this situation and how it affected me. I asked for an apology and an honest explanation about what happened so that I can be better prepared to deal with this if it happens again. She told me she knew what happened but she refused to explain. She "apologized" but then in the same sentence asked me to leave a review here on TrustPilot with her name.
