You are here most likely because of either: 1) Medium.com as a website. 2) The medium "daily digest"mail garbage What you need to know is: Worthless scam of a website for all involved. The website makes you pay for utterly worthless documents that, frankly, seem to be just AI slop with effective tagging and titles. What's worse, it's a website that wants you to pay for what users read.

After Vocal Media kept accusing me of using Ai to write my stories, which is incredibly insulting, I switched to Medium.com I was immediately impressed. Whenever I publish a story, it's instantly posted...no reviews. The constant reviews and rejections on Vocal Media took the joy out of writing. I can edit and add images easy. I'm so glad I switched. Medium is definitely a writer friendly site.

I joined Medium because I thought it was a real media outlet, and I was wrong! Yesterday I received an email telling me that my account had been deleted for violation of some policy. I wrote to ask what material violated what policy, and received a bland, pro-forma response saying they had reconsidered the matter, which was now at an end. I still have no idea what the issue was. This is not only amateur, but it is a complete violation of the principles of natural justice. I'm off to a real media site, like Substack...

Medium sources its content for free from experts and innovators, but then charges those same people to read content by others in their own community. It is as if Medium have zero understanding of how communities based on sharing work. Plus, I can't exclude these guys from my google results. These people deserve to be thrown in a pit full of TikTok influencers.

Another textbook example of adware and bloatware, i got coaxed by a review of a smartwatch I have jusy bought, looking for ways to activate GPS elevation tracking - a pretty basic feature of a decent GPS watch boasting ove 130 sports, includingmany Mountaineering sports. The article publish by some henry the tech chef guy (or bot) randomly described the many amazing apps that the wahtch can connect to and upload - no explanation. All pure fiction, submediocre cr@p. Rubish abuse of AI. At the very bottom the article confirms that AI was used for content creation.

Even if the huge pop-up that takes up almost the whole screen tells you clearly that you can read premium articles when you subscribe, people will close it immediately as soon as they begin reading an interesting article. Afterwards, in the middle of the article, just when you're about to reach the good part, it asks you to sign in to continue reading. It literally says this: The author made this story available to Medium members only. If you’re new to Medium, create a new account to read this story on us. This misleads people into thinking that once they create a free account, they can continue reading. However, they'll find out that they still can't read unless they begin purchasing a monthly subscription. This happened to me once, but it was in a date that I can't set older than a year ago.
