I'm sorry that you were not completely satisfied with your purchase. Color can be notoriously difficult to convey online. Each monitor and, in fact, the light in the room can dramatically change the tone of the image. It is for this reason that we specify; "All images of products are purely for illustration only, and do not form part of the description of the product." on our Conditions of Use page. That said, we do want you to be happy with your stethoscope and would gladly switch the engraved chestpiece to another binaural Free of Charge provided that they share the same chespiece and are in stock. Dinah, Sorry for the trouble with your order. End of line issues are always problematic with Littmann. Even if we do get notification its always hard to know when the end is actually the end. Littmann may have inventory available even for a discontinued item for months. I did see that we did receive a small shipment of the particular stethoscope you requested just before you placed your order (cold comfort for you I realize). As there was no stock available when you placed the order you should have received an automated email as soon as your order was changed from processing to stock shortfall. That notification would not, however, have indicated that the product was no longer available from the manufacturer - I apologize for that. I'm glad we were able to change the color and fulfill your order - I wish it had been in a more timely manner.

Ryan, A signature is required for all our packages (except 1st Class mail parts, etc.) This helps ensure proper carrier service and provides the necessary proof of delivery required for these personalized medical instruments. All carriers will make more than one attempt to deliver a package but some may require notification. All carriers are supposed to leave a “door tag” after the initial delivery attempt. Signing this slip does count as a signature. The carrier will leave the package with a signed door tag and the customer does thereby assume responsibility for the package. This door tag can also be used to arrange pick up of your package at a local facility. Some carriers will accept a hand written and signed note as a delivery signature but this is very much at the driver's discretion. In addition to these, all carriers now offer dynamic, online tools that enable our customers to track, received notifications and even sign remotely for their packages.
