POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

Would've given them no stars, if it were possible. I purchased a personalized Littmann stethoscope from Medisave's website on 02/26/17. The tubing was sticky and had irritated my neck. I used alcohol to wipe it off, but it was still sticky. I contacted Sandra Dorsey of their customer service department through email and phone, and had reported the situation. I was told to call Littmann and go through their warranty program. She even advised me to wipe it off with Armor-All. I called Littmann and was given a choice to either send it back to them and have it replaced, but without the personalized engraving, or send it back to them and just get the tubing replaced. They also said that I could just contact Medisave and have them replace the item or give me a refund if they would allow. Medisave's website says that items can be returned and refunded if they are damaged. So I decided to just let Medisave handle the situation since I purchased the item from them anyway. Sandra Dorsey said I could return the item to them but the refund will be 30% less. I requested to speak to Sandra Dorsey's manager, Robert Kaiser. He said the same. And not only that, he insisted that Armor-All is alright for my skin/neck. Only way to get a full refund according to these people was if I called Littmann and find out for them if they were going to pay Medisave back. Why in the world would I have to do that for them? Why would a customer have to fight for his right to a refund if the item purchased was damaged? Dorsey and Kaiser provided very poor customer service and I hope that they encounter the same.

Thank-you for your feedback. We are very sorry that you are unhappy with the service received. We do try to resolve any product issues (such as the sticky tubing on your stethoscope) before offering a return service as we know that customers need this equipment for their work and it can be inconvenient to be waiting for a repair or replacement. Littmann do prefer for customers to contact them directly regarding faulty stethoscopes, however they do not have any engraving service so we advise customers to let them know about the engraving so they can make a note to forward the stethoscope on to us for the engraving to be added. We ask customers to advise Littmann of the engraving to ensure they don't miss this when they process the return. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused. NOT Happy!
As a Nurse, I would NOT recommend purchasing from this site unless you okay with receiving your package 7 days after you are supposed to. I purchased a stethoscope for someone graduating Nursing school and was unable to give it to them on time. I paid $17 for 2 day shipping and after speaking with customer service 5 times they were unable to do anything about helping me with the cost.

My order was sent back to Medisave by USPS because no one was available to sign for it. I've reached out to Medisave several times to track my package and request re-delivery and have gotten no response. Will not use again.

Stephanie, I am sorry you were unhappy with the delivery service. Unfortunately, some of the issues are down to USPS, you should have received a tracking number and had a contact number you could have called to rearrange delivery. Please accept our apologies for not being able to get through to us to help you with regards to that. Also, please be advised that we send out email confirmations to inform you when your parcel has been shipped, the tracking number, and all information regarding its estimated delivery date. From this, you would have been able to see when that parcel was coming, this does require a signature. Box was damaged
Box was damaged, stethoscope was not in box the right way (I've ordered stethoscopes online before. they CAN and DO arrive in the box laying the right way) and when I tried to talk to online messaging service, which supposedly responds within 20 minutes or something, they didn't respond. I mean I ordered a Littman cardiology 4 so I paid a nice penny. This was my first time ordering with medisave, might be my last. The only positive thing is they engrave.

Dont engrave until you have tried out the product
I purchased a Littmann Light weight stethoscope. I received the item and not only attempted to use it but had several seasoned nurses and other professionals use it and the sound quality was off. I had it engraved and was not able to return it. My suggestion is dont have any engravements done until you have tried the product out. I would not recommend this product and bought my new stethoscope from another company.

Too much trouble. Not worth the time.
The purchase part was ok. Getting the product is another story. You don't send something requiring a signature without telling the customer. So now it sits in the post office and there it will remain.
