I'm filing a chargeback with my credit card company for this. They not only provided fraudulent 10% discount codes that didn't work so I went ahead and ordered anyway, and I ordered a champagne bubble dress and received a random light green dress with acrylic hardware that felt super super cheap. Garbage. I know I won't get my money back from the brand itself.

Unreliable regarding refunds
Unreliable for returns! I ordered twice and had sizing issues, but they strictly refuse to issue refunds (they only offer store credit or flat-out rejections). Very disappointing customer service, do not recommend if you aren't sure about the sizing.

Bride Beware: Their “Custom Sizing” is not what they advertise
I ordered my wedding dress from Mean BLVD.
The dress itself was around $2,200, and I paid approximately $600 EXTRA specifically to have it made to my custom measurements because it is heavily beaded and would be difficult, if not impossible, to alter significantly after the fact.
After waiting about three weeks, I received an email the day before the dress was supposed to arrive telling me that the designer had "accidentally" sewn an XL tag into my custom-made dress, but assuring me that despite the tag, the dress had definitely been made according to my measurements. Obviously this made me nervous, but I agreed to receive it and see for myself.
As soon as I tried it on, I knew it was wrong.
I checked the dress against the custom measurements I had submitted, and multiple measurements were incorrect. I then waited several days to have the dress professionally assessed by my tailor because, with my wedding only about a month and a half away, my first priority was figuring out whether it could be fixed.
My tailor confirmed that the measurements were incorrect and the discrepancies were significant enough that she did not believe the dress could reasonably be altered to fit me. She specifically advised me to request a refund.
I contacted Mean and provided measurements, photos, videos, and everything else they requested. Instead of acknowledging the fact that a dress I paid an additional $600 to have custom made does not match the measurements I ordered, I have been asked to provide multiple different rounds of evidence, including repeatedly measuring the dress in different ways.
At one point, they told me they could not determine whether the dress had incorrect measurements or a "manufacturing issue," which is particularly baffling considering this was sold to me as a custom-made garment.
They told me they had issues with how I measured a few spots, so I retook them and sent more videos. They never acknowledged the other half of the incorrect measurements that were wrong, and I assume that not asking me to retake them means they were taken correctly, and we could all agree that they were not what was ordered. They completely ignored me asking about these measurements multiple times.
After all of this back and forth, Mean BLVD finally told me they would provide their "final update" within 12 hours.
I heard nothing from them for over a week and a half, despite sending multiple follow up emails .
So at this point, I have a nearly $3,000 wedding dress that does not fit, cannot reasonably be altered to fit, and does not match the custom measurements I paid an additional $600 for — and my wedding is rapidly approaching. I have now had to initiate a dispute with my credit card company because Mean BLVD has stopped responding instead of resolving the issue.
based on my experience, I absolutely DO NOT recommend ordering a custom garment from this company, especially for something as time-sensitive and important as a wedding.
If you're considering ordering from Mean BLVD, particularly using their custom-measurement service, I would think very carefully before spending the extra money. I did exactly what I was supposed to do, paid a significant premium for custom sizing, and I'm now scrambling to find another wedding dress while simultaneously fighting to get my money back.
Extremely disappointing experience.
Updating my review to respond to the response from the company- they originally told me I did not measure correctly, so I retook the measurements exactly to their specifications of how I needed to take them and the measurements were STILL INCORRECT. They received these new correctly measured videos, literally completely ghosted me for almost two weeks while I tried to follow up multiple times, and now are trying to act like I’m being unreasonable. They still have not acknowledged the new proof that I sent, or the other HALF of the original measurements that ARE INCORRECT that they never asked me to retake or expressed any issues with how I measured. Instead of agreeing or disputing how I took these other measurements they are just pretending they don’t exist. They maintain that because they sent photos ahead of time, it’s impossible that their designer could have been wrong or showing false measurements, however when I sent photos of the same measurements to say the dress was wrong the
Ssame photos were not considered good enough proof & I had to send videos instead (which they still ignored anyway)
My review absolutely stands: do not pay for a custom dress from this company. They do not take their custom measurements seriously, & they will ignore if the dress is incorrect, even if you send Multiple rounds of proof. They will not work with you in a timely manner and I would absolutely warn you against purchasing from this company.

Dear Gwendolyn Campion,
We’re sorry this experience has been frustrating, especially with your wedding coming up. We do want to clarify a few points, as we believe the full context is important.
This was a customized dress made from the measurements provided with the order. The designer does not have a specific “custom” tag, so a standard size L tag was attached. The tag does not reflect how the dress was made. Before shipping, the designer measured the finished dress and confirmed that the measurements matched the measurements submitted by the customer. Our CS team also sent photos of those measurements to the customer before shipment, and she confirmed that she was comfortable proceeding.
After receiving the dress, the customer told us that it did not fit. We reviewed the measurements she provided with the designer, and the designer found that several measurements were not being taken according to the required method. For example, the underbust and waist length should be measured from the top of the shoulder, not the neck; the shoulder should be measured from the back about 1.2 cm below the shoulder seam; and the hip should be measured at the fullest point.
We understand that this is not the outcome the customer wanted, and we are sorry she was disappointed. At the same time, we could not simply classify the dress as incorrectly made when the finished-garment measurements had been checked against the original measurements before shipment and the subsequent measurements were taken differently.
We never intended to ignore or avoid the issue. We asked for the additional measurements because we wanted to make sure we were investigating the situation fairly rather than making assumptions. Customized items are made specifically to the measurements provided and are therefore not eligible for return or refund when there is no confirmed error in production.
We genuinely hope the customer is able to find a dress she feels happy and confident wearing on her wedding day, and we’re sorry that this experience did not turn out as either of us had hoped.
Best regards,
MEAN BLVD

Don’t buy from this brand
Don’t buy from this brand. They market themselves as luxury, handmade items. What actually arrived was Temu or AliExpress quality — thin, cheap fabric with none of the craftsmanship the “handmade luxury” label promises. I paid $250 for a simple beach dress and got something worth a fraction of that. Their delivery dates are also a lie. I paid an obscene amount for express shipping and then waited over a month for it to arrive. I’m an experienced shopper. I buy from luxury brands and simple ones alike, and I know the difference between a genuine $250 garment and a mass-produced knockoff dressed up with marketing. This is the latter. And you should know their good reviews aren’t genuine. They bribe customers with free delivery in exchange for positive reviews, which is how the rating stays inflated. Don’t trust it — I was offered the same deal. Not worth the money, the hassle, or the misleading “luxury handmade” claims. Avoid.

Dear Victoria,
We're sorry to hear that the dress did not meet your expectations.
We would, however, like to clarify a few factual points for anyone reading this review.
Your order was placed on June 25, and your order confirmation clearly stated a latest estimated delivery date of July 20. According to the carrier's tracking, your package was delivered on July 15, which was within - and earlier than - the delivery timeframe we originally promised.
We would also like to clarify that our Trustpilot appreciation program is designed to thank customers for taking the time to share their shopping experience. We do not require positive reviews in exchange for a discount, and customers are always free to leave honest feedback, whether positive or negative. We therefore respectfully disagree with the suggestion that our reviews are not genuine or that customers are rewarded specifically for positive feedback.
Regarding the product itself, we understand that quality and value are subjective and may differ from one customer to another. If the item did not meet your expectations, our Return & Refund Policy is available to help customers in these situations, and we would have been happy to assist with a return in accordance with our policy.
We value honest feedback and remain committed to providing transparent service and accurate information to all of our customers.

Please exercise caution when purchasing from Mean BLVD.
Our order experience involved incorrect sizing, an item being declared out of stock after purchase, and repeated follow-ups that have yet to receive a satisfactory resolution.

Dear Jon,
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations regarding Order #MBLVD28946.
After carefully reviewing your order and our communication history, we would like to clarify a few points for transparency:
- You placed an order for four suits. Unfortunately, one of the suits, which consisted of two items, became unavailable after your order was placed. We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience, and a full refund for the unavailable items has already been processed.
- Regarding the three suits you received, our order records confirm that the items were ordered and shipped in Size M, which matches the sizes selected at checkout. We have also provided the order details for your reference.
- As the delivered items matched the order placed, we were unfortunately unable to approve a full refund for the products that were correctly fulfilled and delivered.
We understand that there may have been a misunderstanding regarding the size selection, and we regret any frustration this caused. However, we would like to respectfully clarify that this situation does not reflect fraudulent activity, nor does it align with the characterization of our business as a scam.
Our team has remained responsive throughout the process, refunded the unavailable items, and provided supporting documentation regarding the order details.
We value every customer and remain available should you wish to discuss the matter further with our support team.

The color of the dress is not the same…
The color of the dress is not the same as the pic and it turned out to be as cheap as the one I tried from Aliexpress. Very itchy and uncomfortable fabric. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM THEY ONLY RETURN THE MONEY AS STORE CREDIT.
Response from meanblvd.comJun 17, 2026
Dear Walaa,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are sorry to hear that the dress did not meet your expectations.
We understand how disappointing it can be when a product's color appears different from what was expected. Please note that slight variations may occur due to lighting conditions during photography and differences in screen displays. We also regret that you found the fabric uncomfortable, as comfort and quality are very important to us.
Regarding returns and refunds, our return policy is clearly stated on our website before purchase. Depending on the reason for the return and the condition of the item, refunds may be issued as Store Credit in accordance with our policy. Terrible customer service and shipping
Almost 4 weeks for the dress to arrive, which is acceptable for some, but then it turned out to be the wrong size. I offered to pay for a completely new one with my credit card for a smaller size and then return the original. They informed me that I could only receive a credit, even though I intended to purchase a new one. I tried to explain that my event was approaching quickly and that the timeline wouldn’t be feasible. They were unwilling to assist. The help dress was larger than expected, and I invested a significant amount of money in it, as it was meant for this event.
Response from meanblvd.comJun 17, 2026
Dear Shadi Haddad,
Thank you for sharing your experience. We are truly sorry to hear about the disappointment and frustration caused by the delivery timeline and sizing issue, especially given the importance of your upcoming event.
As our dresses are made to order, production and international shipping can take several weeks. We understand that this timeline may not have aligned with your needs once the sizing concern arose. We also regret that the available resolution did not meet your expectations during such a time-sensitive situation.
Our return and exchange options are governed by our store policy, which is applied consistently to all orders. However, we understand that every situation is unique, and we are sorry that we were unable to provide a solution that better accommodated your event deadline.
We appreciate you sharing your experience. Although we were unable to offer the resolution you were seeking, we acknowledge the inconvenience this situation caused and are sorry that your experience with us did not meet your expectations.
Kind regards,
MEAN BLVD

Misleading images & incompetent…
Misleading images & incompetent customer service!
Lesson learnt. Don’t trust their fancy images. What you see isn’t necessarily what they sell. You should take time to read every single fine line before placing an order. Once you have placed an order, it’s on you. I made a mistake trusting their photos. I expected to receive the exact same dress advertised. When received, I thought they didn’t send the missing part by mistake. They provide their contact phone number but never answer calls. I have called them from Australia numerous times and my family also called them from Vietnam. No response. WhatsApp and chatbox don’t do the job either. I never got replied via WhatsApp. My husband chat to a robot only to receive “will connect to a human agent” but never did. They replied to me via email claiming that the images advertised are for a different product and it’s stated in the description. They said “no additional resolutions in this case” and that was it. Why not use true images of the actual product? There are 5 images advertised and not a single one of those corresponds with the “strapless” dress. How would we know the dress in the images has a DIFFERENT NAME? We wouldn’t have bought the “strapless” if we had seen its actual photos. Customers shopping online are entitled to true images of actual products. Time & money wasted!

Dear Valued Customer,
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are sorry that your shopping experience did not meet your expectations. However, we would like to provide further clarification regarding your order to ensure the details are presented accurately.
The product ordered was the Escapade Strapless Straight Across Neck Velvet Floor Length Dress. This item is the strapless dress version only and does not include the cape or sleeved overlay. The product title, variant selection, and description on the website specified this information prior to checkout, and the item delivered matched the selected product accordingly.
For reference, the design that includes the cape attachment is sold separately under the name Escapade A-line Cape Sleeved Velvet Floor Length Set. As this is a complete set, its original retail price is substantially higher at $2,086 USD. The pricing difference reflects the distinction between the standalone dress and the full set version.
With regard to the promotion and refund request, the purchased item was included in a final sale campaign. The applicable terms for discounted/final sale items were made available on our website before the order was placed. Since the delivered item corresponded correctly to the purchased variant, we were unable to proceed with a return or refund outside the stated policy.
We would also like to clarify the concerns raised about customer support. Our team did respond to your inquiries through email and followed up based on our standard support procedures. We also requested an unboxing video to help review the matter thoroughly. While we regret if your experience with phone or WhatsApp communication was unsatisfactory, it is not accurate to state that all contact attempts were ignored.
We always appreciate customer feedback and continuously review it to improve our service and presentation. At the same time, we respectfully maintain that the product information, pricing, and policies were communicated transparently before purchase, and the item received was consistent with the order placed.
Best regards,
MEAN BLVD
