Was unable to receive a referral for an MRI. I have a severe disc herniation. I know an epidural is what was needed. My insurance company wanted 6 weeks of physical therapy before an MRI. Turns out with MDsave, while it wont go against my deductible, It saved me around $600 by using MDsave instead of my insurance. I have not met my deductible and the out of pocket would have been around 900 but through MDsave it was $403 for MRI and a radiologist to read it I not only saved money but I was referred to get an epidural in 6 days from the day I looked into MDsave First time user but it saved me a few hundred dollars and 5+ weeks of severe pain.

Great savings!! My imaging was slated to cost me $1230. I was offered a $230 discount by provider, still leaving me $1000 out of pocket. With MDsave, my cost went down to $250...and including the radiology reading which is usually a separate bill all together. Plus the website is super user friendly! Pick your cpt code, add to card, pay, and you will receive your voucher via email. Present it to the provider upon arrival!! Awesome site!
