I strongly sense the backoffice of the ordering process isn't working well. I have received calls to line up shipments that have already arrived. The last time I purchased something was 60+ days ago, so why am I getting this now? Backorder dates are inaccurate. You have beautiful items, but I only order if I know timing is not a consideration.

The product picture made the blanket look black & white and the colors weren’t listed anywhere in the description. When the blanket arrived, it was blue and white which isn’t what I wanted. And it’s a no returns item. The shipping was also painfully slow; I received the item 23 days after I ordered it.

Purchased 6 framed art pieces, took FOREVER to receive them only to see that they are not even close to what was described on their website. Gave them 2 stars because they did give me a refund. Won’t be buying from them again. IMO everything is way overpriced for what you get.

The stools are beautiful, but they are the very uncomfortable. Not practical for sitting! The foot rest is too low and there is a 90 degree angle on the chair part that cuts into your thighs. No returns allowed so pretty disappointed overall. Would NOT recommend.

McGee & Co consistently has very, very slow shipping. I understand about supply chains and worker shortages. Not said, no other online purchases I make are as slow to arrive at McGee & Co. Items I just purchased over two weeks ago still have not shipped. But McGee charges your card at time of purchase. If they are this slow the least they could do is charge at time of shipment!!!

In furnishing our new home, I made multiple large purchases from McGee and company. I find their return policy and customer service greatly lacking. I ordered a cabinet at the beginning of December which they charged me for immediately. When it arrived in February, it was damaged and I refused the delivery. I did not receive a credit to my account until mid June - So basically they held my payment for 7 months. I have ordered from other retailers such as CB and RH and they address returns and refunds immediately. Also, if you return an item from McGee you will most likely be charged a restocking fee.

Item arrived damaged and defective. McGee needs to hold suppliers accountable for quality standards, this defect should have been obvious when the item was packaged at factory in India. Cumbersome process to get replacement, I sent photos with my initial outreach to customer service, and they proceeded to ask me to resubmit photos and take additional photos. I’ll think twice before shipping from McGee again.

I bought a cutting board that was on sale, and of course it was not returnable because of that, but it had a big long deep scratch on one side of it. I bought it as a gift so I was really disappointed. I wrote to McGee & Co but because I bought it on sale, I was told it couldn't be returned, replaced, nor exchanged. So I purchased a different board from Etsy (which was handmade and gorgeous) for the gift I wanted to send. The scratch was just too obvious and I didn't feel good giving it as a gift. I still have this board for myself, but it's far too big to stand on my counter and is just taking up room in my cupboard. I'll steer clear of ordering non-returnable items from McGee & Co in the future. I just figured if it arrived damaged, that McGee would handle it, but that wasn't the case. UPDATE: McGee & Co reached out to me and now has refunded the damaged item. My faith in them is restored; I like the company and love their products, so am really happy they resolved my problem.
