McGee and Co is the WORST furniture company I have ever ordered online before, I recommend you go to other better furniture websites such as: Lulu and Georgia, Crate and Barrel, Burke Decor, West Elm even Etsy would have better customer service. I ordered a bed January 2021 and it was supposed to arrive around May. Nothing, so I emailed them and they said it was in production. I got tired of waiting so I asked to cancel the order, they said it was too far along in production to cancel, so I said "that's fine, as long you provide me consistent updates so I know when the bed will come." I emailed them a second time for an update in July, the customer service said there would be an update in 3-5 business days and now it's September. I am in a terrible situation of them having charged my credit card $6,000 for a bed that is seemingly carved out of ancient wood from the North Pole because that's the only way I can imagine it taking 9 months to make, and there's not even an update! I can't even cancel! Please, please, please don't make my mistake and buy furniture from literally anywhere else. I wish I could give them zero stars. I have never bought something, not received the product, and then been denied a refund. Wow. That's amazing.

I wish I read the reviews before we ordered from McGee. Rating of 1 is way too generous. Ordered a bed from McGee in November 2020. After some understandable delays we were notified that the bed is ready to be scheduled for delivery. I took a day off and nothing came. After some back and forth it was discovered that only part of the bed was located with the delivery company. McGee told me that they cannot initiate the replacement because they need to search for missing parts on the loading dock. That took 3 weeks - their loading dock must be huge. Eventually, initiated the replacement scheduled for June. This was delayed a couple of times and finally we got a note from a delivery company in late July that the bed is ready to be delivered. My wife took a day of and nothing showed up. She called the delivery company and only part of the bed was in their possession - this started to look very familiar. We finally had enough of McGee and cancelled the order. The credit was the only thing that was processed without a glitch; they obviously have a lot of experience with that. I know that a lot of things in McGee catalog look really nice but please don't fall for this - your experience with them is pretty much guaranteed to be a nightmare

If I could give zero stars I would. I do not recommend anyone purchasing from McGee & Co. I can't get an update on a picture I ordered 6 weeks ago. It was shipped, then returned to sender, and now it's a mystery if I'll ever see what I ordered.

Cute products but this company needs to get organized and have better shipping and customer service. Waited months for 5 counter stools. Finally came and 2 were the wrong product. Then fill out a form. A month later they get around to ordering it. Another 6 weeks and they call to deliver, but oops they lost one. Um still waiting on the lost stool. They have to “find” it rather than order me a new one. If you have loads of money for the handling, shipping a restocking fees and if you have 6 months to a year to wait for products go ahead and order. If you want a company that considers your time valuable and treats you like an equal, go somewhere else.

I have never in my life experienced such horrible customer service. I ordered two nightstands the end of May, by mid June I checked in to locate the nightstands. I was giving a tracking and then realized that there hasn't been movement in 2 weeks, so I asked them about it. They didn't know what happened with the shipping company but reordered the nightstands and said they would be back in stock beginning of July. This was frustrating but I understood it happens. On the date I was given for shipping of the replacement nightstands I checked in with customer service again, they sent me a tracking number and said the item had shipped. When I checked the tracking number it took me back to the original lost package that hadn't moved since the beginning of June. They told me that their shipping company combines tracking numbers for different orders (have you ever heard of such a thing?!) Then I talked to another manager who said she didn't think the order had been shipped and that they had the item in stock and would send it out asap! Then the original manager, Hailey called me back and said that she messed up, they actually wont have them until mid August (3 months after I first placed the order) and there was nothing they could do about it. I have been told so many different pieces of information, and when I call to clarify they are rude, snippy, and not accommodating at all. I have never spoken with such disrespectful and rude customer service reps. If I could give this company less than 1 star I would. At this time they still have not figured out the issue, and unfortunately I see them only offering me a refund as a solution, which of course I should have that option always since I never received anything. Please buy from someone else. This company has a long way to go before they get me back as a customer.

This should actually be ZERO stars for ZERO customer service. After three months of waiting, we received news that our items were "lost." No explanation, no offer to expedite new items. So, we were reassured that the items were in stock and "on their way." We received countless emails that they were on the way. We received updates that the items were "on the way." After FIVE MONTHS of patiently waiting, we received an email that AGAIN they were "lost." No explanation, nothing. Please note that they tack on a hefty $150 handling fee per item which is RIDICULOUS. The turnaround time to receive a response took over a week. Will never purchase nor recommend this company. So disappointed with their customer service and complete lack of professionalism.

Read Read Read!! their return policy before buying. Their restocking fee for a return for two pendants would have been $200 which seems ridiculous when they're still unopened in the box. Horrible. Customer Service agent was not helpful at all.

I really want to love this company following them on their show I got my Daughter to follow her and she loves her designs. But that being said....Horrible Customer Service or any communication at all. First I tried to purchase a set of cutting boards for 275.00 for my daughter for Christmas sold out okay filled in to notify when they are back in stock Never happened. So now I try and purchase them as a home warming gift for their new home tried to reach out to this McGee and Company to see how long it takes for delivering if I send it to her old address or her new one....Nobody answers the phone or reads their emails. You would think how much they charge for their designs and product they would have 1 individual that answers their phone and emails or have a Customer Support. I'm sorry I can buy a cutting board anywhere and be happy and save myself a lot of money. But this was a gift so let's see how long it takes to get to my Daughter and Son-in-law. Update.....A big sticker on my daughters cutting boards Made In China By the way these 275.00 cutting boards are not even functional just for show very disappointed.
