I have ordered several items from Mcgee and Co. I ordered the Reeves counter stools from them because they are described as solid oak. They are clearly not solid oak or if they are they are very poor quality. One has snapped already just from sitting in it and it was company that was over.. how embarrassing. We have only had these stools for a week so they have not had much use. They're all wobbly and super light weight I just don't see how they are solid oak as described, They feel like they are made from balsa wood from the craft store. I'm so disappointed and nobody is getting back to me. I have sent an email and left a message on the answering machine.. I have attemped to call several times. I'm also dealing with another order issue with another dining chair order arriving with snags in the upholstery on 2 of these chairs. I want to love Mcgee & Co. and LOVE the style but I cannot trust the quality based on the description any longer. Please make this right. I feel scammed. Updated review, after reaching out further via social media they let me return the items and refunded me. Thank you for getting this handled, you have regained my trust. Merry Christmas.

I have 3 current orders still waiting to be shipped dating back to October 13th. My daughter was home from college this weekend and wanted to decorate the Christmas tree. We were unable to because all the ornaments I have ordered still have yet to be shipped. It’s extremely discouraging to receive weekly order updates from McGee & Co, that my orders are still “processing.” It’s been weeks. Update - 1 order arrived today and the items are absolutely beautiful. ❤️

UPDATE 11/3: While I didn't get much communication or response from the rep who was initially working with me directly, my problem was solved promptly after leaving this review. I received a few automated emails that the package was waiting to be shipped and then notification when it had been. The tree did arrived November 2, much sooner than the mid December date the rep reported. It is a spectacular product. I realize not everyone can be Amazon- and a month isn't bad at all for a large item in these times. I just wish I never had to post on this website to get some answers or service. I know McGee & Co is working hard to turn around their shipping and customer service departments. I am happy with product and will definitely order from them again. Thank you for your help! Very nervous. I placed an order over $1000 for a Christmas tree the first week of October. Estimated shipping/delivery advertised as 10/17 on the website. Received an order confirmation email the next day. Then, surprisingly, a second order confirmation email was sent 10 days later, notifying me my order is “processing” and shipping is delayed. Very ambiguous with no real information. After getting in touch with customer service, was told there was a 14-18 day delay in shipping. I asked for further clarification and they said the tree would hopefully ship sometime the week of November 21!! (Wayy more than 14-18 days, it is approximately 55 days from time of order, when it was advertised as less than 2 weeks.) The rep said I would also need to add at least 7-10 days on top of that, so maybe the 2nd week of December? I have already spent the $1000 and am crossing my fingers that this tree will be here in time for the holidays. So disappointed we will not be able to set up for Thanksgiving. I will update whether the tree gets here in good shape and before the new year. Putting my faith in McGee because I love her design work, but this has been a sad and disappointing experience so far, especially for the amount of money I spent on a high-end purchase. If a tree can not get here by the holiday, please don’t advertise it for the holiday the first week of October!!

The products are wonderful. Unfortunately one item was delivered wrong and I know have to wait several more weeks for it to arrive. The customer service was amazing when I emailed what happened just wish the turn around time was faster on the products especially when a mistake is made.

Love this sideboard - it’s so pretty and the storage is great! My only complaint is that the edge of the door rubs on the adjacent door when it is opened and this has caused some splintering on the wood. Barely noticeable but worth noting!

Great products and happy with purchase. Only complaint is that it took 8+ months to get once ordered.

I realize there are supply chain issues in America. That said I waited a long time to receive what I ordered. If there can be some improvement in that area then I would give you 5 stars.

The products are top-notch and absolutely gorgeous!!! Love McGee & Co quality! Would be a 5 star rating, except shipping is fairly slow. Assistance in sales is amazing, quality of product amazing, and beauty of product second to none, but the slow shipping pulls the entire experience down a notch. Hoping this will get resolved, as McGee & Co is too amazing to have a poor shipping/delivery experience.
