We bought a 2022 cx5 Mazda and the drivers side light is already groaning and needing replaced. 1700.00 not including the labor. Its a known problem for Mazda because the tech we talked to called it a recall without the recall. 6 hours of driving so I could get a diagnoses and 6 more hours once they order the part and 3.5 hours for them to fix it. I live in the middle of nowhere and that is why I bought what I thought was a reliable car to avoid driving back a forth to dealers. Car dealers around here no longer offer loaner cars while they repair your vehicle. Thank You Mazda for your attention to detail and using the cheapest least reliable parts on your vehicles. I'm sitting here wishing I would have bought a Toyota or Honda and that I could get all my driving time back.

Yo compré un CX5 Homura, que me fue entregado con un defecto que hacía que saliera un mensaje de "avería grave del vehículo" y que reducía la velocidad hasta pararse. Después de más de tres meses de idas y venidas al taller, sigo igual. Incumplen lo que prometen y ya el colmo es su servicio de atención al cliente, donde pasan de ti y te van dando largas. Un auténtico desastre. Yo he tenido Renault, Seat, Mitsubishi y Ford y jamás me he sentido tan estafado como con Mazda. Y creo que hay muchos más casos semejantes. Recomiendo huir de Mazda

Another Known Issue NOT Covered by Mazda USA Have a 2019 CX-5 GTR with Folding Mirrors. Mazda has issued a TSB showing these get damaged by water and stop working. They state it is a Manufacturing Defect. I have this issue, but out of Warranty by time, not mileage. Only 30,000 miles and these issues started many months before. Mazda USA said "Tough L:uck." Have to pay Out of Pocket to repair. This is not the first Known Issue that Mazda does not take care of their Owners. Will never purchase another Mazda due to these issues and the way Mazda ignores Owners.

Called to check if Belt Tensioner replacement (on 43k miles) is covered under powertrain warranty for my mazda3. Operator put me on hold for more than 1:20 and then hang up! I had mazda before (also new) for three years. And then got the current one that I have for almost 5 years. But I'm 100% sure I will not get mazda ever again. Not only questionable reliability but customer service is subpar!

I applied for a position in huntsville alabama for mazda Toyota manufacturing located at 7262 governors drive suite 203 on Friday 8/26/2022 at 7am.. From the minute you walked in you could tell they were amatuers. The instructers were terrible. They were hiring in bulk because they are short handed..Hello! They give you cheap hard hats and plastic glasses and undersized gloves...Then at the end of the interview want you to clean and return this junk...Do not work for this garbage company and there Hr DEPT IS A BIGGER JOKE .... If I could give Mazda 0 stars I would, but that does not seem to be an option. I am on my 3rd CX-5 & it will be my last. I have been trying to get information about delivery of a rear bumper for just about a year. I have reached out to the dealer, MazdaUSA Customer Service, corporate officers- just about anyone I could find contact info for. Not 1 person has had the decency to respond.!

I have been a Mazda owner for the last 5 years and have taken my Mazda for service exclusively. I had no prior issues, but this last december I had engine problems during a typical commute. When I had my car towed to Mazda they told me I had engine failure, but couldn't tell me the reason unless I pay them. This put me in a difficult position as an essential worker who needs my car, so I payed this price without having much of an option. The vehicle also showed no signs of warning on my dashboard during the time, I was still left with a sour taste in my mouth, because they would choose to take 0 responsibility and tried blaming everything on me regardless of their maintenance. Zero responsibility from the Mazda and a horrible experience. I will never buy another Mazda ever again and would never recommend one.Take your money somewhere else.

Just go anywhere else, very poor customer service.
