Our 5 y.o. Cattle Dog mix started having cardiac syncope episodes out of nowhere. We took her to the vet and many inconclusive tests and ruling out heart enlargement, we were referred to a cardiologist. The “vest test” costs $600 and we don’t need one given her age, activity and relative cardiac health. We got Maven to see if we could spot any syncope indicators before an event. I love being able to watch her heart and breathing rates, it gives me peace of mind. I’ll keep monitoring her this way until it no longer works!

As a veterinary technician, my own dog was diagnosed with a heart murmur and right sided heart enlargement at the age of 8. She already is a special needs dog being deaf. She panics when I listen to her chest to get a heart rate and respiration. Her heart rate was always around 150 when I would check it at home. Knowing it elevates so much with her being nervous, I could never get a good baseline. My doctor wants me to monitor resting heart rate and resting respirations. Now, with Maven, I get those numbers more accurately without the added stress on her! It’s a great peace of mind. My doctor is so pleased she is now recommending it for other heart patients!

I’m new to Maven was seeking a new tracker as the previous one I had was acquired by another company and the cost and the size for what they offered was ridiculous. I love the compact size and it’s easy to charge and track my lil 5lb yorkie!

My dog, an 11yo pit-lab mix, started panting at odd times, especially at rest, and my vet suggested counting her breaths. When a dog is panting, that is actually really hard, and she was waking me up panting, but I didn't know when it started, should I be concerned, and what the panting meant. Enter Maven. I started using this at the same time that I started having her checked out, worried that the panting was a cardiac issue. When the labs came back showing a cardiac problem, I was so grateful that I already have data that is showing exactly what I was worried about. I love that multiple people can see her profile, so when my roommate watches her, I know I can check on how she's doing. I can see spikes in heart rate and breathing which I can share with her doctor. And I can track any medical issues that come up in the app so when my vet asks "when" something happened, I already have it all in one place. I love the peace of mind knowing that someone is "watching" her while I sleep. And it watches things I didn't even think about, like how much water she's drinking, which is important to have as a baseline because she also has chronic kidney disease. I wish I had known about this sooner!

So far, so good. Our guy has multiple medical conditions and some of his medication doses are based on his heart rate and respiratory rate. This device has given us the confidence that the data we need is accurate.

We have really enjoyed this tracker. I check the app every morning to see how well my dog slept that night. I also love being able to track her heart rate and know how hard she's worked or played that day. The app is easy to use and is a tool to make sure our Coco is living her best life.

Neat tech and easy to set up and understand. So far, I’m a big fan.
