As someone in the veterinary industry I bought this device for my eldest dog to see if the data it presented was accurate. It has been a few months and it already has picked up on two ear infections and some important respiratory changes. We are now recommending it for our heart disease patients so owners have another tool to keep track of accurate respiration rates while they are actually asleep, any increase in water intake and changes in activity level.

9.5 year old cavalier king charles spaniel with mitral valve disease. The Maven device/app helps track heart/breathing and activity so we can spot any issues and ensure the correct medication. Been very useful tool and reassuring that we can monitor her health. App also gives advice if something unusual has happened such as head shaking or wrong type of exercise.

I have been nothing but impressed with Maven. We got the sensor to help us navigate heart disease in our senior chihuahua. We looked into other health sensors, but chose Maven because of how strictly they designed the parameters to ensure reliable information is collected. I was amazed the sensor is so generously priced and affordable as well. During a time when vet bills are higher, it felt like a relief that the sensor gives us peace of mind without adding anything to our financial burden. Since getting the sensor, I have written customer service with a couple questions, and replies come quickly with thorough, clear answers. The app itself is intuitive and easy to navigate, and we pay most attention to her resting respiration rate. The app and what I count as her breaths per minute are always the same so I know the data is accurate. It is also wonderful to be able to have her heart rate tracked. I'm able to leave the house with more peace of mind, and between the sensor and a camera, we can check in on her and feel confident she is okay, or if we ever need to, we can come home and give her an extra dose of medicine if she needs it. I would recommend Maven to anyone. They clearly just want to do good work and provide a genuinely good product. A breath of fresh air these days.

Last year we adopted our 6-yr old long haired chihuahua foster (Kuma Ruffy) and was told that he had a stage 4 heart murmur. He’s a cutie with lots of interested parties inquiring to adopt him, but every single interest became a zero adoption. We pursued a diagnosis and found out that he has mitral valve disease (MVDD)and high blood pressure. Working with the Veterinarian, we implemented an effective treatment plan and discovered that Maven can produce data to help monitor key health points to keep Kuma’s health in check. Since we just finished the 7-day baseline, we plan to share the data with our veterinarian at Kuma’s next check up, which will be his first echo since starting his meds!

The Maven collar alerted me when my cat's breathing pattern changed. I might have taken me few hours before I notice on my own, but the collar picked it up and I managed to take action. Having that kind of real-time insight into my cat's health is invaluable. Highly recommend for any cat owner who wants peace of mind.

I lost my 13 yr old chihuahua, Jake, on June 5 from congestive heart failure. His brother, Elwood, also has CHF. I needed a way for a layperson to check what’s happening inside Elwood and Maven has been a godsend. It certainly does not replace an EKG but it does give me a way as a heads-up to difficulty breathing he may be having that is not evident to me. He wears it proudly. His birthday is Dec 22 and I am looking forward to his 14th birthday.

I bought Maven a few months ago for my almost 10 year old male chihuahua mix to keep stats on his health and activity. I really like Maven and my vet checked his stats in the app and said it looks correct. My only minor negative is wishing that I didn't have to charge Maven every 3-4 days but it's still worth it.

Maven pet has been a great purchase. I really like how i can track my Chocolate Lab's sleep and her drinking. I noticed when she is scratching her head more and took her to the vet. She did have an infection. Caught early it was easily treated. I definitely recommend it for any cat or dog parents.
