About three months ago, I lost my beloved Chihuahua to a heart attack. When my other dog, a 150-pound English Mastiff, recently experienced an episode of arrhythmia, we wanted to ensure her cardiologist had the best possible information to guide her treatment. I now email her monthly report to the cardiologist before each visit, and they have shared that the information is extremely helpful. Having this data gives us great peace of mind, knowing we are doing everything we can for her.

Elvis is 13 years old, so at this stage of his life, anything that helps me keep a closer eye on him gives me peace of mind. One of my favorite things about Maven is getting notifications about his sleep and activity, but what means the most to me is being able to monitor his heart rate and respiration rate. Elvis has a heart murmur as well as liver issues, so those numbers are especially important to me. I love being able to see what is normal for him and notice if something starts to change. It also gives me information that I can share with his veterinarian instead of relying only on what I happen to notice myself. When you have a senior dog, you find yourself paying attention to every little change because you just want to keep them healthy and comfortable for as long as possible. Maven gives me an extra set of eyes on Elvis and a little more reassurance that I’m staying on top of his health. For me, that peace of mind is priceless.

Being able to monitor my dogs heart and respiratory rates will be very valuable because he has congestive heart failure and mitral valve disease. We just got it last week and it has been very informative as it gathers a day and a week’s worth of data to set a baseline. Looking forward to sharing the data with our vets.

Only one thing I regret is that I didn’t not find this fantastic device for my pup earlier!! She is 12 years old, and I feel relief that I can share my responsibility for her well-being with something else!

Easy to understand + use app. I have the Oura ring for myself and this is the fur baby version of it which I love!

This has been wonderful for monitoring my older dog’s behavior and physical activity. It has confirmed some of the symptoms that I thought were present. It has been a relief using this monitor to assess his daily health. It is well worth the price if you’re an anxious pet owner. I would definitely recommend this monitor.
