It's been almost a week and I like seeing how much my dog sleeps and her activity level. It's nice knowing her breaths and heart rate. It was very easy to install.

Received and working. I've only been using it a little over a week. My dog is elderly and has afib, so I wanted something to monitor her respiration and heart rate. I'd like to see an easy way to download the data to share with the vet. So far so good. 👍

I have a rescue mutt with trauma, sound sensitivities, and food allergies. Managing his health can be challenging, which is why I turned to Maven. After using the app for some time, I have both praise and constructive feedback. The insights are valuable, especially the sleep charts and activity timeline, which have helped ease my anxiety about his nighttime pacing. However, the activity goals are displayed as percentages relative to raw active minutes, which takes some getting used to. The alerts are quick and accurate, but the tracker takes a while to charge, so plan activities accordingly. The customer support team is fantastic and responsive, which has made a big difference. Despite a few quirks and a learning curve, Maven has greatly impressed me compared to Tractive.

Only giving 4 stars because of how often I need to charge the battery. Otherwise, I love the device. My dog was recently diagnosed with mitral valve disease and a grade 4 heart murmur. This was shocking and scary but the device helps my peace of mind. I love That it tracks his breaths & heart rate & alerts me of any changes. It’s truly been a game changer for us.

I found out about Maven through my friend -whose dog is aging. I have a 14 year-old Black Lab and was nervous about her respiratory and if she was drinking too much water. Having Maven tract my dog's activity level, sleep, heart rate, and respiratory- gave me the data I needed and a peace of mind. Also, the Maven device tracked Drinking and even Head Shaking. The device is easy to connect and I can check my cell phone through the app. In addition, through the app, I can add to any changes in environment- such as thunder storm/ rain/ going to doggy daycare- etc. I did have a bit of trouble setting my password up but received a link through customer service via email. All is well.

The product worked well overall, however I wish there was a way to get a summarized report at the end of each month. Taking screenshots (in lue of a monthly report) was too much of a hassle to remember, do, and also save outside of the app. All of the information is not very useful if I can only view one day or week at a time without being able to see and compare data at a glance. Not useful for me or my vet. So I ended up trying to cancel my subscription and that took a week with many unanswered emails and MANY automatic charge attempts on my debit card. This product could be great, but as it stands (regarding the app and accessibility to the collars' recorded data) it just isn't very useful at all.

I have been using the Maven collar for several months now with an older beagle who has gastrointestinal issues. It gives peace of mind especially overnight if your pet has medical issues. The baseline set well over one week, and the question I emailed about (annotating a report) was answered promptly. The amount of data you get impressed the vet!! I honestly don’t know what all the negative reviews are about, unless a rival is trying to slag the company or something. My only complaint is the battery lasts about 4 days to a recharge, and recharging is a little slow (over an hour and some). I purchased the one year subscription, and don’t feel it is too expensive for all you get. I have sent the company some ideas for improvement (alarms, and seizure detection), so I will give it a *5* rating if they continually work to improve an already good product!!

Gadget/App does what it says it does, tracks my girls' breathing, heartbeat and sleep/drinking/head-shaking patterns. Very insightful! I've used Maven for a couple months and have no subscription regrets (I did the annual one). I shaved off one star due to battery life. The two trackers I have average between 6 to 7 days between charges. That's my only complaint. I recommend Maven to every PAWrent!
