This product has a major limitation. I ordered the Cleartex Ultimat Chair Mat in Feb 2025 based on the description of Plush carpets over 1/2". While my carpet and pad is over an inch it seemed like a good choice. Unfortunately this has cracked in many places in less than a year. Upon contacting customer service I was advised that: "The mat you have purchased is suitable for carpets over ½” including padding and we recommend this up to a maximum thickness of 3/4" (including padding). As your carpet is over 1”, this is likely contributed to the cracking of the mat." I asked why they did not have "UP TO 3/4" in the description and was told: "Unfortunately, it is difficult for us to put this information everywhere on our website due to character limits and space limitations." They will not honor the warranty as the edge of my desk is touching the mat which voids the warranty so they win. I would have tried the next level up mat however I cannot get past the ridiculous response from Customer service for why the description is wrong. Hope this helps someone else out.

Im sending the matt back,the one I ordered prior if I hadn't destroyed the packaging I'd have returned it too.This last order I haven't opened but will be sending it back.The first one was on the floor as soon as I received it bd becer did flatten which made it difficult to walk on without tripping us.

Having bought quite an expensive floor mat for working from home and protecting new carpet, find the mat has split. Tried all methods of contacting including calling and trying each option which guide you without option to leave a voicemail, that’s ok but the secret would be to respond: they haven’t yet despite messages left. My recommendation is if it matters, don’t buy from Mats Stores,

There's a return policy, but the process is designed to discourage you from ever attempting to return. The product description is not helpful and leaves a lot of room for error.

Took an order then cancelled it because it was out of stock! What a waste of time, why offer products you don’t have?

Ordered1st January. Now the 10th and no mat. May be the fault of DHL but they say they had wrong information. Promised delivery today but now postponed once again. No idea why. Sounds like incompetent sales dept.

Bought one of these mats to place on a carpet. It repeatedly moves contrary to what is claimed in the advert and on the website blurb. Complained to customer services who said the carpet measurement i.e. the thickness should include the underlay. NOTHING at all said like this prior to purchase. They also mention that moisture can build up between the mat and the carpet again Not mentioned prior to buying It constantly moves and is a real pain. The company say they know the mat moves on some carpets and understand it is frustrating. NOTHING mentioned prior to sale. This product does not work and yet is knowingly sold by them claiming it does???? Disgraceful underhand sales tactics

Does not work on hardwood or carpet. It’s slippery and seems like the material is cheap.
