Beware of very dubious practices and…
Beware of very dubious practices and misleading "no hassle 30 day money back guarantee promise"
1. After enrolling and paying for the PMP Online Certification course based on the testimonials of the advertised course instructor, I find that the real course instructor is located in Hyderabad India and is not the advertised course instructor.
I immediately requested the switched course instructor CV. The CV did not mention The Master Of Project Academy. I emailed asking for clarification whether the switched instructor had ever worked for the Master of Project Academy before. This question was ignored.
2, After receiving no response to the question, I requested the money be refunded. However, the Master of Project Academy will only reschedule the course and will not honor the 30 day no questions asked money back guarantee. They claim the course has to be cancelled 72 hours before the course begins
3. In short, in order to qualify for the "30 day hassle free money back guarantee" you will need to know you are not satisfied 72 hours before the course begins.
4. If you do not wish to be cat-fished (the practice of showing the credentials of one instructor but it really is another instructor) and not receive a refund when not happy with such cat-fishing, then I recommend you stay well clear of this company.
5. Note that I have not received a refund and have completed 0% of the course content. I requested a refund within 7 days of paying for the course (i.e. well within the 30 day money back guarantee period).
6. As an update, I contacted the advertised course instructor of the PMP Online course via LinkedIn. He claimed he has not taught for the Master of Project Academy for more than 1 year. He also stated that he had only ever taken 2 classes for them.
7. Despite showing all of this evidence to the Master of Project Academy, they refused to refund the money.
8. I am located in Australia and have noticed a regional website for them. Sometimes I get the US based site, and other times I get India. There are different pricing, terms and conditions for students in India. I suspect the positive reviews might be regionally focused.
9. I have found the company to engage in false and deceptive advertising. I encourage you to read the company's money back guarantee policy and read their response to this complaint below.
10. I recommend to all prospective students to stay well clear! There must be more legitimate means to achieve your desired PMP certification.

As we have clarified the issue to you on email. You have asked for a full refund when there was less than 72 hours left for your confirmed PMP Live Class Session. I am sending the full email we have sent to you for the view of other students who are reading this thread.
Btw, we do not have an instructor named "Bill Pascoe". Our money back and full refund guarantee is crystal clear on the course page and no issues on refunding any transaction as long as it meets our refund policy.

If you scroll down on Frequently Asked Questions section, you will see that "we cannot refund or reschedule a session if you contact us less than 72 hours before the session starts". I am sending the referring part below:
Can I get a refund?
If you attended to PMP Online Class session already, you cannot get a refund.
If you purchased the PMP Live Class Virtual Training and do not want to proceed, you can ask for a full refund only 72 hours before your session starts.
Since our sessions are US Central time zone, cutoff time for getting a full refund is 08:30 US Central Time 10th of Jan.
When I check your email to [email protected] and [email protected], none of your refund request emails have been received before the 10th of Jan 08:30 US Central Time. You can check your emails yourself as well.
We have received this email on 10th of Jan 14:02 pm US central time. I mentioned "Just less than 48 hours left and we cannot refund" as your last minute refund request. Actually the refund policy is not refunding if less than 72 hours left for the session to start.
So, this is not a course-fishing or false advertisement. Refund policy is clear and explained in the course sales page. As you can imagine, it would be very hard to accommodate/arrange instructors for us if every student comes and ask for a refund in last 2 days before the session starts.
I would recommend you to attend the class since we will not be able to issue a full refund after this stage. Although rescheduling is not possible, I can reschedule your session to a further date but unfortunately refund is not possible since instructors have been informed and session has been organized and you contacted us for a refund when there was less than 72 hours left for the session.
We are serious and clear about our refund policy and we issue all refund requests as long as it meets our refund policy. In your case, your request does not rely with our policy.
