Mashvisor is overall a good tool. It provides important analytics data. I see it needs couple of improvement. 1) after trial time ends, it should not put a customer on a quarterly expensive plan. It can do monthly cheaper plan. Customer can upgrade if necessary. Mashvisor is kind enough to refund my quarterly fee. 2) mashvisor provides analytical data about how much you can make out of it via short term rental/abnb. But remember most of the community doesn't even allow short term rental. Mashvisor should display the info if that property of your interest allows short term rental or not. What is the use of short term analytics if you cannot even rent out that property. Other than that it is a solid tool for real state agents.

Forgot to cancel my trail in 7 days and was charged the subscription fee. Reached out to Mashvisor regarding the issue and they explained to me the no refunds policy, but were nice about returning the fee as an exception because this is a difficult time. Very thankful about this. Took a star off because I tried several days to reach anyone. I'd recommend using email directly instead of calling them.

I couldn't bulk download Cash on Cash return metrics - only the cap rate.

Mashvisor is a great research tool to use while planning for rental property investments. I wish the filters would stay put when you move the map, but that's minor. I should stress that this is just a tool - by no means should you skimp on your due diligence when running the numbers yourself, but it's very helpful at pointing you in the right direction!

I think it’s a great platform but has drawbacks that will hopefully be improved upon. I actually use Zillow to search and then mashvisor to evaluate as an investment. The Zillow search engine is superior in my opinion. There are also times that Zillow homes are not listed in mashvisor. Not sure why they aren’t being picked up. When saving homes in mashvisor, there should be a better way to compare between the saved homes. And perhaps a notification when a saved home changes status (comes off the market).
