Don't like limits on specialty sodas and snacks. Why would I buy just a pack of 4 drinks for a weekend or an event? Otherwise I could just run to the store. Prices are good, but quantities are very small for the price, especially snacks and pantry.

Good idea. Good deals. Certainly a good way to try new items. Not always free shipping. Added items to my cart. Went to checkout and while shipping was free there was a $16 rural handling charge. I didn't complete the transaction. I tried my sister's address and had the same issue. Perhaps the best customer is one closest to their warehouse.

I'll give them a three because of the variety of options. So far I've got two different orders. One is on the way, one already received. I was able to pick up some gluten-free stuff for my daughter. Some boulder chips for myself, which I have to go to specific store across town to purchase. So I enjoy that. I would have given them a higher score but they're packing is terrible. Some of the cookies I purchased were crushed and The Greek olives container was cracked so it leaked all over. I sent an email to Marty customer service we'll see how they handle it. But I did read another review and that complaint was packing. Martie handle your (packing) business. Heavy stuff on the bottom, lighter stuff on the top.

I love the concept of Marties, saving food and goods from being wasted. Sometimes I find fun new foods to try. I give it 3 stars which is decent in my book. I've bought from them a few times and I'll continue to do so. Here are some areas I'd love to see improved. - there have been a lot of junk and unhealthy foods on the site lately. Artificial flavors and ingredients. True it's not Whole Foods, but I'd love to see more healthy, natural, organic options. -a few of my orders were missing items. I had to get in touch with customer service and they said they ran out after I placed my order. There shouldn't be a time lag in the inventory of in-stock items. The system lets people order something that's sold out which is frustrating. -i ordered an iphone charger that died after a few weeks. And I ordered popcorn that was stale (Living Intentions Superfood popcorn FYI). That brand of popcorn is usually really good, but it was old (expired) and probably been on the shelf a while. I don't like chewy popcorn. A tip for folks: if you're thinking of trying something new that you see on Martie's, go to Amazon or do a Google search to read reviews first. There were some products I contemplated but I went on Amazon and saw horrible reviews. There's a reason why companies are trying to get rid of some of these products at cheap prices. They may be discontinued because it doesn't work, or the flavor was found to be craptastic. This is not all products mind you! Some are wonderful and worth getting for sure. Just do your homework to save yourself from a regret buy. Overall I think they're doing a good thing. Shipping has been pretty fast. At the beginning it took a while for the package to just get a shipping label before it was even shipped. But I think it's speedier now. Just keep up with the healthy food please. I am rooting for Martie's to continue to grow so it can keep the prices low.

Good selection of items. Pretty fast to get orders out, however the shipping had issues. When I contacted the CS team they were responsive, but failed to follow up. I did not know they did not answer emails over the weekend. That's ok, just have an automated response to inform your customer. The CS agent eventually offered credit because the two boxes of 72 items costing almost $200 had not shown up, nor had the UPS tracking updated since the day they picked it up. That company is also not meeting their obligations to consumers, but that is going to have to be another review. The order finally arrived 4 days late. This is fine for some items, but not for food items. I can wait for anything else, but not what we are going to be using to build our meals around for the week. In addition to the inconvenience of being late, I had a product melt through the jar it was in. The mess was not too bad, since the jars are packed pretty well. They use a lot of brown paper for padding and protecting your food. That is a five star experience. I think companies who can send me so many items without using one bit of plastic BS are awesome. With improvement, this company can easily go from three to five stars. Give your customers a little love for dealing with a major inconvenience. It may not be a big deal for some people to wait for food, but I am autistic and caregiver to my dad, an 80 year old veteran. I don't think it's too much to ask them to cover the cost of the ghee and throw a little extra on top for the wait. A $25 credit for the trouble isn't likely to break their bank and it would make sure I'd be returning to their app for a future purchase. I really can't understand companies who are not interested in laying the foundations for loyal customers. It's pretty easy.
