Horrible fraudulent company. They packaged things poorly so that an item got damaged. And then they refused to let me exchange for an undamaged one. They said I’d have to pay $35 to place another order to get a $5.99 item that was damaged due to their negligence. Bait and switch. It is clear they packaged things badly on purchase to get me to spend more money to reorder. And then they sent me drinks that had different best by date than the listing advertised. They argued that item is fine, despite me sending pictures that show it is not as advertised. When I asked for someone higher up, they stopped replying. I even followed up, but they have ignored me over a week now. I had to open a PayPal case. Stay far away from these scammers. Not worth the discounts.

There is absolutely no customer service! They don't respond by email or by text. My order has still not arrived after 10 days. I am about to cancel the credit card payment.

Online they advertised expiration date of 9/2025 and whatever I received say “sell by”and “Best by” December 7, 2024. I spent nearly $40 thinking that with the expiration date being 9/2025, I could save the packaged chews for a while. I received them EXPIRED! I will never shop with this business again.

First had difficulty getting a response (both via phone and email, they don’t have live chat) about their first order free shipping. Didn’t trust my instincts so gave them a try, and then had an issue with damaged goods that were poorly packed and spilled all over the inside of the box, and incredible mess to deal with. Didn’t get a reply until almost 48 hours later. Was given a middling refund which was couched as a “courtesy” and given a link to terms and conditions. Simply abysmal service for an e-commerce business. Don’t buy from them, it only looks like a good deal.

If I could give negative stars I would. First order was fine, second one was a debacle. I received 3 out of 17 items but was led to believe the rest would be coming. When no other boxes came, I tried reaching out without any response either by email (despite the automatic email back from them saying you will get a response back in 24 hours) or by phone (no person, just referring you to email) or text (out onto the ethers). Finally had to go through many hoops getting my credit card company involved to reverse the charges. I still didn't get a full refund which would have been, at a minimum, good customer service. Not worth it AT all for discounted items. Run away from this company and dont look back. Looking at other reviews would have clued me in, so that is tge only reason im doing this review, to warn other folks.

Worst customer service I have ever dealt with. Makes it clear that they just don’t care. Four of my chips/crisps arrived crushed after an employee thought it would be a good idea to put two heavy jars of preserves on top. That is unbelievably foolish. Nobody with any bit of sense would do that. Then when I messaged support about the issue, they ignored me until I had to follow up twice. An agent named Maria replied and was very rude and snarky. She also made it clear that she barely even read my messages. She refused to reship the items or provide me with free shipping coupon, so I could repurchase them. I thought those were very fair requests on my part, since this error was clearly Martie’s fault due to poor packing. But Maria replied(after I had to follow up again) with a snarky comment about how 1-2 damaged items is normal and not deserving of free shipping coupon. It was 4 items, not 1-2. And no damaged items should be normal due to poor packing. Shows Martie doesn’t care about their customers at all. And then Maria had the nerve to tell me I need to just spend $50 to get free shipping to get the $10 worth of items that were damaged. Beyond rude and almost seems like a bait and switch scam to get customers to spend more. And even if I got a free ship coupon, I still would have had to spend an extra $15 to even place an order. So I was being very lenient by not asking for free shipping plus a $15 gift card, since I shouldn’t have to pay a penny more than the original price to get the items that Martie damaged. I sent a follow up message telling Maria about how I will not be shopping at Martie and will leave negative feedback, unless she makes effort to make things right. But of course, she ignored me and didn’t care. Terrible attitude. I even tried messaging Louise who is the co-founder after she sent out an email asking for input. But she totally ignored me too. It’s clear she never wanted input in the first place. Worst company ever. I loved the concept, but the horrible employees ruined it.

If only if done my homework. I have had a terrible experience with this company. Silly me. I thought it would measure up to Imperfect Foods. Twice, I was sent packages containing broken glass and messes for me clean up. Reached out to the company and was absolutely not helped at all. Packaging is terrible, and this conpany will have you jumping through hoops if you expect to get help. I never reached the end of the hoops. Never got help. I tried to leave reviews on social media and was blocked from their platform. So I guess that's why it's not abundantly clear how dissatisfied customers actually are. The unhappy are muted. In the end, we're out more money than we could ever have saved.

Their customer service is terrible and they will not stand by their products or their customers. They don't care whether they send expired food to you, damaged shipments and if you try to reach out to customer service for help, expect them to give you the run around. They shipped me rotten food and REFUSED to refund me even though I showed them proof. I will never order from them ever again. You should be ashamed of yourselves for tricking customers like this.
