was locked to them fo 6 months. Worst decision ever.
It was so bad they released us from he contract 1 month early. Very kind and cool people but just couldnt deliver on their promises, overspent and underperformed. We lost an incredible amount of money with them. Worst results in over 8 years.
We got thrown around like a basketball, every new person promising to make things right. Allomost all the ads pointing to the wrong products, text on the ads describing completely diffrent items. It was very obvious that an ai had set up and ran everything without any human control.
Very very overpriced and they really dont deliver at all.

I had a call with their co-founder…
I had a call with their co-founder Victor. Took an hour out of my day, answered questions prior to call as well. Was told to get a follow up. Never did. I emailed, didnt bother answer.
Also based on other reviews, definitely upcharged quoted 8000usd for 50 ads. WOW what a company.

Hi Carl,
I'm sorry to hear about this experience. I looked into our records of meetings with Victor and wasn't able to find a match for your name, so I haven't been able to piece together exactly what happened here. That said, this is not how we operate, and I take it seriously.
If you're open to it, please reach out to us at [email protected] and I'll personally make sure you get a response. I'd like to understand what went wrong and make it right.

Not good results so we stopped
We used marketing.com for around 3 months. The people working on the project were very kind, but the ad account was super poorly managed, and ROAS dropped from 450% (on our own) to 175% (with marketer.com).. After paying their service fee of 1K per month + not being profitable, we decided to stop using them. After a few months of damage, ROAS is now creeping back up. I wish them the best, but it didnt work for us.

I am not ordinarily inclined to…
I am not ordinarily inclined to leave one star reviews, however this experience warrants reflection. As an Australian consumer preparing to launch a new venture domestically while simultaneously establishing a C Corporation in the United States, I had scheduled an appointment for 1:30 a.m. my time. Thirty minutes prior to the meeting, it was cancelled without discussion on the basis that the representative determined my business was not suitable.
What is concerning is that this conclusion appears to have been reached without a meaningful understanding of what my business actually facilitates. The current website is temporary and does not fully represent the scope, structure, or total addressable market of the venture. A brief preliminary call consisting of four or five targeted questions would have provided sufficient context to assess suitability in a professional and respectful manner.
The decision to cancel without conversation reflects, at best, a short sighted and inefficient evaluation process. If the volume of business allows for such dismissals without engagement, that is of course a strategic choice. However, from a commercial perspective, informed assessment typically precedes rejection.
Professional courtesy and due diligence are rarely inefficient investments.
Reply to Tarik,
I want to clarify a few things in your reply because they do not reflect my actual experience.
From my side, there was no conversation with William and there was no back-and-forth discussion about platform compatibility. I did not see the email you referenced at the time. What I saw was the meeting cancellation notification roughly 30 minutes before the scheduled call.
The call itself was scheduled late at night for me in Australia, and I had stayed up until 1:00 AM for that meeting. When the cancellation came through shortly before the call, that was the experience I was responding to in my review.
I did not have any conversation about my business, plans to move platforms, or anything else you mentioned. None of that occurred on my side so if that is what you have been told it is an inaccurate statement of facts. You also do not know what I do, the scale of the project I am building, or the projections we are working toward. Your platform charges start at $1,000 per month and we are projecting approximately 15,000 transactions per year, which is why I was evaluating whether your service could be a fit. My current situation has changed and I am planning on investing $300,000 into marketing for launch and ongoing marketing.
My review reflects exactly what happened from my perspective: a confirmed meeting was booked, I waited up for it, and it was cancelled shortly before it was meant to start. It was cancelled at 12:53 am and the meeting was 1:30 am. Not sure if you are looking at the Australian and American time difference but happy to show the screenshots and I do not appreciate the way your email is written to play me out to be dramatic or dishonest without you so much as finding out my side.
For someone to actually get the full version of facts you actually have to find out both sides of the story and then use all the information and work out the most informed pattern or decision based on all the information gathered. Thats the most appropriate way to handle these scenarios. Perhaps a call to your sales staff member to reconfirm the context may assist.
My point still stands: I understand you are likely trying to filter out time wasters, which is fair. However, unless your team has an actual call, even for five minutes, to ascertain the reality of the situation, how can anyone truly know what the scenario is? In many cases people also know others who require marketing services. A quick conversation can often lead to referrals. In my experience, a referral with a warm introduction goes much further than a cold one.

Hi Aaron,
Thanks for sharing your experience, and I'm sorry it left a bad impression.
You booked a demo using a Wix-based website. Marketer.com was then, a Shopify-only solution, so when there's a platform mismatch like that, the team reaches out to clarify before proceeding. In this case, the meeting was cancelled and William, our rep, emailed you within a minute explaining why and offering to still have the conversation if there was a fit he missed.
The cancellation also happened roughly 13 hours before the scheduled time, not 30 minutes as described here.
You shared some helpful context about your broader business and plans to move to Shopify. William acknowledged that and offered to reschedule. When you asked to escalate, I personally reached out the same evening and offered to jump on a call right then or the next day. You preferred to pause, and I followed up one more time laying out where things stood and keeping the door open. I didn't hear back after that.
As someone building a business yourself, I'm sure you understand how much weight online reviews carry, especially for a growing company.
A 1-star review for a service that was never used, based on a timeline that doesn't match the records, hurts.
I take every piece of feedback seriously, and I always want to improve how we handle things, but I do think the full picture matters here.
The conversation was never closed from my side, and it still isn't. If you'd like to revisit things, I'm happy to chat.
I wish you the best with your ventures in Australia and the US.

Big Promises.. Little Delivery..
Just another marketing company that oversells and under delivers once they get your money. And you can forget about getting a refund despite being promised one on several occasions. We had to contact our bank to get our money back. Save your money and your time if you know what's good for you.
Response from Marketer.comJan 6, 2026
Hi Cerya,
We take claims like this very seriously; but after reviewing our records, we’re unable to locate any user account that matches your name or the details shared.
We do not withhold refunds that have been promised, and we do not ignore or disappear on customers. Our support and strategy teams are actively working with hundreds of businesses across time zones every day, and while some issues may take time to resolve, we always follow through via our verified channels.
All billing is transparent and user-controlled, and all payments are processed securely through our partner, Stripe.
If there’s been a misunderstanding or if this review refers to a different provider, we’d encourage a correction. Otherwise, if there is a legitimate issue, we’re happy to investigate, just reach out to us at [email protected] using the email tied to the account.

Great bells and whistles.... however, under the hood it's another story entirely
We've never wasted so much time and money on something so commercially dysfunctional and worthless before.
We were drawn to Marketer through their META ads and their statements about what they could do for us. We already had Meta ROAS of 4:1 and Google Shopping ROAS of 10:1. Marketer were adamant they could scale our advertising while maintaining our ROAS.
We signed up for their pro package (currently valued at $1500 per month). There were endless issues getting started with the 2-month trial we paid for. We went through a total of 4 account managers over the course of as many months, each new one needing new meetings to get going and set up and to share all the plans they had for us.
Finally, the 4th account manager got going with new campaigns, each one with a spend of £50 a day (and left running no matter what). It gradually became very apparent just how young and incompetent the team behind Marketer actually was. Their underperforming campaigns, combined with the complete mismanagement of our accounts in the preceding months, proved extremely costly for us.
We ended our trial with Martker last week, with our META ads running at a 0.9 ROAS, and our Google Shopping ROAS had dropped to 4:1
As other reviewers have said, Marketer are great at taking your money.... but when it comes to delivering, it was appalling. It was even clear to our account manager that Marketer's negligence and bad management were responsible for damaging our business. No one else higher up in Marketer was willing to even acknowledge it, let alone apologise!
Be careful with these guys... great bells and whistles.... under the hood, another story entirely
ps... for those on the fence, you can also search Reddit for more customers sharing their experience with "Anyone tried Marketer.com AI ad tools?" which I wish I'd seen before signing up
***EDIT on 5th Jan 2026***
The reply from Marketer on 4th January 2025, claiming they have no record of us, is yet another testament to either the extent of their dishonesty or their complete dysfunction in what they offer.
Since writing this review, we were contacted multiple times by Marketer to have yet another meeting with the incentive of a refund, as they wanted us to revise this review.
@Tarik, just in case you really are that disorganised and disconnected from the company you founded, here are a couple of invoice numbers for you to look up on your system:
Invoice number CC8B9BD7-0001
Invoice number CC8B9BD7-0005
Working with your company caused us to incur severe losses. Your team destroyed the Google and Meta campaigns we had already established (before coming to Marketer), which your company assured us they could scale, while retaining our ROAS.
I've left this review as an honest account of our experience to help other business owners understand what can happen when tempted into signing up with Marketer. There are others also leaving similar feedback on Reddit.

Hi,
We’ve reviewed your claims in detail and can’t find any record of a business in our system that matches this experience - no billing, no onboarding history, no active or archived campaigns, and no internal handoffs between account managers.
If you do have verifiable details that suggest otherwise, we’re happy to review them — just reach out directly at [email protected].
Marketer.com is not run by an inexperienced or disorganized team. We work with hundreds of businesses, and help them scale profitably using a combination of automation and expert support.
All billing is transparent and controlled by the customer. Every client gets direct access to a dedicated team and escalation paths.
If this review was posted in error - or if it’s perhaps referring to a different company - we’d encourage a correction.
Wish you a great 2026!

## Updated January 5th ##
Hi,
Thanks for updating your review.
Once I was able to match your review to an account, I looked into the details carefully. While I stand by the work and intent of the team, I also recognize the experience didn’t meet your expectations - and you've been issues a full refund.
That said, some of the original claims — especially those questioning our integrity and suggesting dishonesty — were serious. While I understand they may have come from frustration, they don’t reflect the reality of how we operate, or the standards we hold ourselves to. We care deeply about doing right by our customers.
Victor, my co-founder, also reached out to you directly, offering to support your brand entirely free through Q1, including compensating with free ad credit - not in an exchange, but because we believe in making things right when things don’t go to plan.
We take customer satisfaction seriously. This didn’t go the way either of us wanted, but I appreciate you taking the time to update your feedback - and I wish you and your business the best.

The app simply doesn’t work
The app simply doesn’t work. Zero customer support other than when signing up. They know how to take your money… that’s their primary focus.
Response from Marketer.comJan 4, 2026
Hi Bernadette,
Sorry to hear the experience didn’t meet expectations!
The app is used every day by hundreds of businesses to generate sales, and every customer has access to direct support, not just during signup. If something didn’t work as expected, we would’ve been glad to help.
If you believe there’s been a misunderstanding or something got missed, we’re happy to take a second look. Just reach out at [email protected].

Warning: Their tech does not work as they say when they sell you their service
Their tech does not work.
I agreed to pay them $1,500 USD per month. After 2 weeks, they could not get their system to connect to Meta. I asked them for a refund, after ignoring me they agreed to give a refund but we still did not receive our refund. I opened a dispute with Amex.
I also asked them to remove my credit card information from our account, and to remove our product information from our account. They said they would, but have not done so. Even though I uninstalled their Shopify app from our Shopify store, they still have access to all of our products. I will be making a complain with Shopify and with Meta now.

Hi Mike,
We take claims like this very seriously; but after reviewing our records, we’re unable to locate any user account that matches the details shared in this review. We do not ignore any of our users, but sometimes responses that require investigation can take 24h.
Our onboarding process includes Meta and Shopify integration across thousands of accounts, and while setup issues can happen from time to time, we always resolve them quickly through verified support channels. Typically the issues have started on the user-front before every connecting to Marketer, but we aim to help the users resolve it regardless.
We also do not retain access to store product data after uninstallation, and all credit card details are managed securely through our payment provider Stripe.
If there’s a genuine issue here, we’d be happy to investigate. Please reach out to our support team at [email protected] using the email you signed up with so we can look into this directly.
