Bike is great! Some small things like being more apart than I thought it would be shipped but no big deal, small chip on forks , casset didn’t look super new just clean. All together quite happy about the bike other than that

Update: it took some doing, but Marin fixed the issue with the adapter on their website. I've ordered it and waiting for it to get here. I'm probably impatient, but I like things to go smoothly. Looking forward to installing and not having my bike fall over. I just bought my first ever bike from Marin through bike bling in Encinitas,ca. I wanted a kickstand for it. There is no number to call and talk to anyone to cut to the quick. I emailed and got a reply that I need an adapter for my dsx2. I can't find the adapter on your website. The email says I should reach out to my local dealer to obtain said adapter. They don't know anything about it. Do they too have to email Marin and are still waiting for a reply. Everything is so slow. Why? I got the information I needed in the email, but still here with no adapter. It's frustrating for no reason. Such a simple thing. That I should just be able to order directly from marin. Love the bike. Not happy because of this nonsense. Where is the customer service?

Able to answer my questions and get the right part

2024 Marin Alpine Trail Carbon 1. Bought almost exclusively for the frame. A few notes, i had a new set of carbon cranks (RF 175s) and I'm sure I hit every obstacle on the trail, ordered up a set of 165s and that sorted it out, I'd like to go down another 5mm to 160s. Not sure why I strike so much on this bike, it's similar to my other bikes current and past. The geo is fun, I'm 5'11" and all that was in stock was a Lrg, I'm wishing I'd have held out for the XL as that'd lengthen it out a little bit more for the extremes (up & down). But it holds it's own alright. The bent seat post limits the length of dropper post you can use, so i'm not able to get the seat as far down out of the way as I'd like, if I could slam it right down, that'd help the downhills significantly. Relatively light, but sizing feels smaller than I'd like. I'm eyeing up an XL to swap out, but that's a chunk of money I'm not sure I want to spend.
