I love my Marin Gestalt gravel bike, but the thru axle bolt + nut system was a little challenging, especially because I had to take my front wheel off every time we traveled with our truck bed rack. I got lazy making sure the nut was inserted fully in the fork and sure enough, it worked loose and fell off during a muddy, rough ride. Local bike shops couldn’t help me, so I contacted Marin and they gave me excellent advice, which was much appreciated.

Prompt enough shipping. The pieces fit my 2023 Marin Rift Zone 1 perfectly. But no free ship or promo shipping. Kind of a bummer to pay as much on shipping as the price of the grommets.

Nach YT die für mich beste Preis Leistung.Leichte Rahmen gute Ausstattung,alles was man braucht.Bremsen sind aber wie bei den meisten marken sram.Die reichen für denn anfang aber sind sehr wartungsbedürftig.Einfach bessere bremsen kaufen(zbs,Magura mt 5/7,Shimano sx) und dann passt das.

Customer service (Johnny) was very helpful and worked to get the replacement axle to me quickly. It took a bit longer than planned so missed the planned in-route delivery. Marked down a bit because of high price for just a fancy bolt. A for effort but why can Amazon deliver so much faster.

Love the Gestalt 2.5 and think it was and is the best value in its class, gravel. I’m trying to get the factory to sell me an extra set of wheels but they say not available?
