Marin BikesReviews of marinbikes.com

Bike is of really good quality. The fit and finish Is good. I am 6’ and I got the large frame. The bike seems to be a little on the long end. There’s not much more room to adjust the seat post down due to the water bottle mount/screw in the frame. I also ordered the bike online and it didn’t come with a seat post clamp. I sent a message to Marin and have yet to hear back from them.

Derailleur was bent from poor shipping setup.

Absolutely great, not 5 stars due to hanger is really soft, and shipping cost, but other than that it's great

Bike came promptly and in good condition overall. One of the packets with some of the bolts/screws, etc. had opened up and spilled into the bottom of the box, which did have some untaped seams on it, BUT, after pulling everything out, I did find everything. There were no instructions on putting the bike together, even though there was supposed to be but I am fairly experienced wrenching on bikes and it went together well. One other thing, I have purchased other bikes and had to put them together and this was the first time I had to actually mount a front brake. It wasn't terrible, just an extra step (especially centering the caliper) that I have not had to do before and wondered why it was not shipped already mounted. Again, these are pretty picky and the bike is great. Thanks Marin.

Needed a derailleur hanger for Bobcat frame, unable to find one on Amazon or the usual online sources. Fortunately Marin had it available, clearly identified and for a decent price. Only disappointment was they took a whole week to get it shipped, but fortunately I bought two so I'll have a spare.

I purchased a replacement rim for my San Quentin 3. Rim arrived ahead of schedule, but did not include rim tape, which would have been a good addition. Now I have to purchase it separately.

Was not really sure about ordering online, however it did go smoothly. Not really happy about having to go to a bike shop so far from home to pick up. Local bike shops could not be chosen to have it shipped to. As in most cases, some components needed to be removed and upgraded.
