Bike is great but the derailer was very off and the back tire was flat when it arrived. I have taken it on several trips already. Even tried out a few mountain trails I find fun. The bike is light and nimble, very fun to ride around town or longer commutes.

Easy to find part and in stock. Too bad it is overpriced, but bike companies build their bikes and parts so you have to buy from them ONLY.

I purchased a DSX2 from Bikesonline AUS. I have had a lot of problems with the wheels. The bike was discounted, basically from $2k to $1500. I think Marin must have thrown a couple of cheap rims on the bike. I had 5 flat tyres in the first 5 rides. Store mechanic discovered the rim tape was thin and had no sticky-ness to it, so was sliding off, and wrapping around itself, exposing the spokes to the tubes, causing the punctures. The bike mechanic also said he hadn't felt spoke holes as rough as these. I had to have the tape replaced with thicker, wider tape, that held in position as it should have had in the first place. Jump forward a month, 500ks later, and the spokes get very loose very easily and have caused a buckle in the back wheel. It's not like I am mountain biking, only commuting to work in the CBD. No reason to be having so many problems with the rims. Bikesonline have been excellent in the way they have dealt with my constant issues and I did ask them if they were responsible for building the bike, which they said no. I just think Marin have provided poor quality rims on this bike because it was reduced. I can't see what brand they are. It's a shame, I really like the look and ride of the bike but these issues in the first 6 weeks have been extremely disappointing. I thought Marin would value quality more than cutting corners. Also, I read an earlier post about the thickness of the paint, when I was considering this purchase. I agree with that persons comment, even the slight knock chips the paint away.

My bike came missing parts. Tried reaching out to your customer service without a response. Had to take it to a shop and purchase parts to finish putting my bike together.

Perfect timing. All good but... It's a sin you don't effect international delivery. If I hadn't a good friend available in NYC who took care to re-send the package to Italy I could never had the chance to to handle this bar.

First off I love the bike. I gave 3 stars for a couple reasons. 1-The bike had a couple paint chips upon arrival, it wasn’t super obvious and will get more as it is rode so not a huge deal. 2-There were no tools for assembly. 3-There were no instructions for assembly and all torque specs had to be found online All that being said it is a good product. Should be a good bike for years to come. Luckily I had almost all the tools needed and am very handy.
