Our home was built 11 years ago and throughout this time we have experienced difficulties with couriers who all insist our home is 1.5 miles away from its actual location. After realising this must be a mapping issue and that our home and neighbouring properties are not listed, there was a dawning that deliveries are made to dead centre of a 3 mile long road. I have used the app to advise Google of the issues and seek inclusion many times. I get a generic acknowledgement stating that the matter is in hand, but nothing ever gets updated. This is a serious matter as many items and money has been lost. Proving you haven't received parcels deemed delivered is time consuming and frustrating.

Funktioniert nicht offline obwohl ich ganz Deutschland heruntergeladen und aktualisiert hatte. Selbst mit Datenvolumen geht's nicht. Komischerweise hat's mit WLan funktioniert was aber nix bringt wenn man auf der Strecke keins hat. Und jetzt musste ich feststellen das plötzlich alle Offline von alleine gelöscht sind. Was soll das?👎👎👎

Google maps and the nevigation services that comes with it are fairly more reliable and trustworthy especially for tourists abroad. If you are in a country that you have no idea and say you rented a car or you're running outdoors, i would trust the ability to navigate me more than its rivals and whatnot. the design and the working capability is really good on both android and ios. so i like it very much.

Ich bin seit 10 Jahren Google Local Guide. Aber aktuell verstehe ich Google Maps nicht. Ich poste ein Bild mit Informationen von einem Ferienhaus – nicht akzeptiert, da keine Bilder nur mit Text erlaubt. Was nicht stimmte. Ich poste ein Bild, eine Broschüre, von einer Polizeiwache – Bild wurde akzeptiert? Obwohl nur aus Text bestehend? Ich poste eine Hotelbewertung mit Zimmerfotos – alles wurde nicht veröffentlicht, weil es sexuelle Inhalte zeigt? Was zur Hölle? Es ist ein normales Hotel, kein Bordell. Selbst als ich alle Bilder entfernt habe, und nur den Flur des Zimmers zeigte, behauptete Google dass es sexuelle Inhalte zeigt? Ich habe ein örtliches Autohaus schlecht bewertet, das mieseste Unternehmen in meinem Leben. 1x wurde es als Fake Rezension bemängelt - wurde freigegeben 2x wurde beanstandet nie Kunde in dem Autohaus gewesen zu sein - was ich beweisen musste, dann freigegeben Jetzt wurde die Rezension gelöscht, weil man sich was neues einfallen lies "es Diffamiert das Autohaus". Freie Meinungsäußerung ... wem wundert das noch ... bei einem amerikanischen Unternehmen ... gibt es nicht. Google verstehe es perfekt Ihre User zu vergraulen! Nachtrag vom 22.07.2025: Nach neuer "Diffamierung" - Welle sämtliche Rezensionen, und Bilder von mir auf Google Maps gelöscht! Selbst das bekommt Google Maps kostenlos vorab von mir erledigt.

It was good experience

M’avoir fait presque creuver en m’envoyant les 4 fers en l’air dans un lac après 5h30 de détour, sans réseau, à devoir escalader des roches, dans la nuit et sans aucune voiture ni civilisation à moins de 4h en plein milieu de la Californie j’avais rien dit car ça fait des souvenirs à raconter à ses petits-enfants plus tard. MAIS, me faire faire un détour de 50 min pour aller à San Sébastien et avoir mes tapas froid, ça je suis pas d'accord ! Je mets un terme à notre relation, je te quitte pour Waze. Bonne continuation !

I wanted to go to a hospital which was on Google map but when I got to that place there was no hospital . Instead there was a house which I entered where some dogs came and they were about to bite me. I asked some locals about the hospital's address which was somewhere else.
